This is the northern end of South Korea, located in the military restricted area, from where you can clearly see the houses and people on the opposite side through the binoculars. In the past, it was an outpost for soldiers to stand guard, and the Peace Observatory was officially opened to the public in September 2008. The exhibition hall on the second floor of the observatory displays photos and videos related to the situation at the time of the outbreak of the Korean War and the outbreak of domestic and foreign wars. Tourists who come here can leave a wish for the reunification of South and North Korea at the unification prayer center.
