It was designated as a historic site on June 10, 1964. The buildings of the Goryeo court included the main palace, Yeongyeonggung Palace, Ganganjeon Hall on the hill to the northeast, Gyeongnyeonggung Palace to the north of Seongmaru-ro upon entering Sodongmun Gate, Geondeokjeon Hall to the west of Jamun Pass in Okrim-ri, Jangnyeongjeon Hall to the east, Mannyeongjeon Hall to the rear, and Taemyojeongak (太廟殿閣) in Daemyo-dong outside Bukchangmun Gate, including Daegwanjeon Hall and Singyeokjeon Hall, but they are all gone now.
