甘海子 Ganhaizi is a viewpoint in the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain area. People usually come here to see the Golden Mountain (日照金山). The best time to see the Golden Mountain is during sunrise, about 10-15 minutes. After the sun rises high, the golden color will no longer be visible. This area is 3100 meters above sea level. Two-day tour in Lijiang Day 1-Jade Dragon Snow Mountain⛰️ 1️⃣ Ganhaizi The flight was delayed for two hours the night before, and I arrived at the hotel at 3 a.m. I slept for less than two hours before going to Ganhaizi to try my luck at seeing the sunrise on the Snow Mountain. I arrived at the Rizhao Jinshan Point at 6:30 a.m. and waited for more than half an hour for the sunrise. The clouds were too thick that day, so I didn't get to take a photo of the Rizhao Jinshan. However, the scenery was really beautiful, the air was fresh, and I felt refreshed. 2️⃣Blue Moon Valley I was amazed at the first sight. It is a sapphire of nature. The lake water is icy and cool. From 12 noon to 2 o'clock, the lake water is the bluest. It is very comfortable to escape the heat in summer. 3️⃣ Yunshanping I missed the appointment time, so I lined up to go to Yunshanping at 3 pm. I took the cable car and then the battery car to the scenic spot. Along the way, I broke into the scene of the Wizard of Oz. It was full of green. Yunshanping is very original. The cows, sheep, squirrels and birds are all free and easy. You can take pictures on the plank road. It is simply a natural oxygen bar 🌳 (but the altitude is about 3,400 meters. I, who usually don’t exercise, had the first oxygen breathing experience in my life 🈶). Naturally drove away all the worries, and I would naturally empty my mind, look ☁️ look ⛰️ look 🌳, comfortable 😌 Day 2 - Lijiang Ancient Town After the first day of the special forces snow mountain trip, I slept until I woke up naturally on the second day, and went to the ancient city for a meal and a walk. It was so comfortable. Yunnan is worthy of being called the City of Flowers. You can see colorful flowers after a few steps in the ancient city. It is so full of vitality. The ancient city is very big. After lunch at noon, I thought about going to Tinghua Valley, so I didn’t finish the tour. In the evening, we went to the ancient city to buy souvenirs for our family. Tea was a big headache for me because I was afraid of being cheated. I happened to see a tea shop with a lot of people, so I thought about going in to have a look. As soon as we entered the door, the guy was very enthusiastic to chat with us. After understanding our needs, he let us try different teas without forcing us to buy or recommending expensive ones. The guy born in the 2000s was very honest. We all had a great chat. In the end, we bought Pu'er and Dianhong. Lijiang Travel Guide (Lijiang Ancient Town + Jade Dragon Snow Mountain)|||🚗We arrived in Lijiang at eleven o'clock in the evening. Unexpectedly, Lijiang is just like Changsha, with a very rich nightlife and brightly lit! It doesn't feel like night at all. 👃The altitude of Lijiang Ancient Town is more than 2400 meters. You can buy oxygen bottles everywhere here, and they can be delivered, very cheap, 10 yuan for 1400ml, which can be inhaled for half an hour. I always buy 3-4 bottles to keep on hand and inhale anytime. 🏨The hotel is next to the Big Waterwheel in Lijiang Ancient Town. After breakfast the next morning, we leisurely strolled to the ancient town. From the Big Waterwheel, you can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Picture 2). ⚠️Friends in wheelchairs♿️ must pay attention: The stone roads in Lijiang Ancient Town are very bumpy and difficult to push wheelchairs. We even went to the tourist service center to borrow a wheelchair with big wheels, but it was still hard to push. Friends in wheelchairs should take photos at the Big Waterwheel and not go further. 🌆Lijiang Ancient Town (Pictures 3-6) can be toured in about 2 hours. After resting at the hotel, we prepared to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It takes about an hour and a half to drive there. There are no tall buildings along the way, so you can directly see the magnificent view of the snow mountain! The phrase 'If the mountain does not come to me, I will go to the mountain' is vividly illustrated (Picture 7). 🏔️The ticket for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is 100 yuan, free for those over 70 years old. There are staff at the foot of the mountain setting up roadblocks to start scanning tickets. After verifying the tickets and passing the gate (Picture 8), there is still a half-hour drive inside (Picture 9). It's really huge! 🍀We didn't get cable car tickets. We originally wanted to go to Blue Moon Valley, but there were too many people and no parking spaces. We could only take photos and check in at Gan Haizi, which is also very beautiful (Pictures 10-12). Gan Haizi has an altitude of 3100 meters. Toilets🚾: There is a railway near the parking lot at Gan Haizi. After crossing the railway, there is a golf resort center with toilets (staff toilets, quite shabby but clean. If you can't hold it, use this one). Don't ask the security guard, they don't manage this resort center. This resort center has multiple entrances and exits. If you ask the security guard, they will direct you to the tourist service center, which takes more than ten minutes to walk. This toilet is a 3-minute walk. ⚠️Note: It is especially reminded that if you want to play at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, you must join a one-day tour group. Even if you are driving by yourself, you should join a one-day tour because individual tourists cannot get any cable car🚡 tickets. All cable car tickets are bought by travel agencies.
