#thingstodo This is a picturesque lake in an otherwise barren desert landscape. The northern side has a monumental gate that seems to be the most popular spot, where there's boating trips. The gate itself is beautiful, sympathetic to the Rajasthani architecture of the city. After a quick visit on this side, I moved to the eastern side to get a better view of the sunset, which was awesome. This is a beautiful lake. One can take boat rides both self operated or oared by drivers. Advisable to take the self driven one as you can spend as much time in the lake as possible. There is light and sound program every evening free of cost. Gadisar Lake in Jaisalmer offers a serene and enchanting experience, especially during sunset.
