[2025 Fuzhou Stay] Travel Guide for Fuzhou Marriott Hotel Riverside (Updated Feb)

I'm an ordinary office worker from Taizhou, Zhejiang, with a virtuous wife and a 3-year-old son. I like to share my own family travel guides, hotel deals, and great places to take kids. I accidentally became a family travel blogger. This Lunar New Year, we went to Fuzhou. We first went to Pingtan, and then wanted to see the God Parade, so we chose to stay in Changle District. We ended up discovering a hidden gem of a hotel. 🏨 Fuzhou Marriott Hotel Riverside The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Changle Airport and a 10-minute drive from Changle East Railway Station. It's convenient to stay here a day before your flight or train if you're traveling with kids. 📸 There are many photo spots in the hotel. The outdoor wedding chapel, "Heart of the Ocean," makes you feel like you're in Sanya. See photos 1–4. 🏊‍♂️ The hotel has several children's play areas. The indoor heated pool is great for swimming with kids, and adults can work out in the gym. See photos 5–6. Donghu Digital Town The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Donghu Lake. You can take a stroll with your kids and enjoy the breeze, or rent a shared children's toy car. It's very relaxing. See photos 9–13. Changle Xiasha Beach A 20-minute drive from the hotel, this place is known as "Little Jeju Island" in Fuzhou. The conch tower is a great photo spot! See photos 14–16. Of all the hotels we stayed at in Fuzhou (including the Hilton Fuzhou), the Marriott Hotel Riverside is the most photogenic. The sunset view from the room is beautiful. It's also more family-friendly, with better children's facilities. If you're traveling with kids to Changle to see the God Parade or for a layover, you can give it a try. I'll write more about other things to do with kids in Changle besides the God Parade.

Two rows of coconut trees with a sense of depth🌴, Surrounded by an oval heart-shaped pool that flows lightly~ · 🟡 The lighting in the room makes people feel warm. The landscape window faces East Lake and the "Heart of the Ocean"~ The breakfast is quite considerate. You will see Fuzhou and Southern Fujian specialties. Noodle paste, fried fried cakes, Fuzhou fish balls, Fuzhou meat swallows~~~ · 🔵 I would like to talk about [Jasmine Chinese Restaurant] in particular A very warm and satisfying dinner~ The restaurant is great for small gatherings. The waiters are considerate and attentive. The surrounding environment is not noisy, The lighting is also warm-toned, And the restaurant has a relatively high ceiling. It doesn't feel depressing. · There are several dishes, My mom always praises me here👇🏻 【Little yellow croaker】 The meat is fresh and tender, and the soup is delicious. 【Morch meat ball soup】 It feels like it could become a classic. The soup made from morels is sweet and refreshing. The meat has a sweet mushroom aroma. 【Salt and pepper crispy tofu】 It feels like it’s quite a test of your cooking skills. The skin is thin and crispy. When you bite into it, you will find tender and juicy tofu. ·

The Fuzhou Donghu Marriott Hotel is the first Marriott hotel in Fuzhou and the first international five-star hotel in the Binhai New City. The hotel's hardware and design are all high-end. The hotel is located in the Donghu VR Town in the Binhai New City of Fuzhou, in the Changle District, near Fuzhou Donghu, and has a good lake and sea ecological environment. It is also close to a 12-kilometer golden beach, adjacent to a golf course and many water sports and entertainment facilities. Design The hotel is full of Chinese cultural elements, and it is also a hotel full of art collections and fashion elements. Whether in the public area or the restaurant, you can encounter many works of art. The huge lacquer painting "Sea Silk Sailing" created by artist Tang Zhiyi in the lobby bar is super dazzling, and there are also sculptures by Yang Bailin from Taiwan, "Heart Flower Finds Open", paintings by Yang Shu, "Unintentional 25", and French artist Tess Dumont's "Mare and Pony" and so on. Room The guest room is equipped with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, which are very spacious overall, and every corner is very attentive! The high-rise landscape is panoramic, and the main view is excellent. The hardware part is outstanding, the bathroom hardware uses DURAVIT, and the hair dryer is surprisingly Dyson. The big bed is very comfortable, the light is soft, and the night light is turned on at night. When the alarm clock rings in the morning and opens your eyes, you will not feel dazzling. The bedside table is equipped with an electronic clock, which can be connected to the mobile phone Bluetooth to set music, which is very smart. Food There are a total of 5 restaurants & bars including the lobby bar, Chinese restaurant, all-day restaurant, specialty restaurant, and tea room. Fujian people love to drink tea, so the hotel also specially set up a tea room "Luya Terrace" on the 26th floor. The lobby bar provides tea, coffee and various drinks during the day, and turns into a bar at night, with foreign singers singing. The breakfast is complete, and there are Fuzhou specialties such as fish balls, noodle paste, porridge + pickles, and the decoration of the cake area is actually made of sugar! Experience Personally, I think that among the five-star hotels in Fuzhou, there are very few that occupy such a large area and have a bit of vacation. Donghu Marriott is indeed more satisfactory than many other five-star hotels in Fuzhou. From hotel decoration to catering types and tastes, they are all pretty good.

The high-floor views are stunning, offering excellent vistas. 💡The hardware is outstanding, with DURAVIT bathroom fixtures, a Dyson hairdryer, a very comfortable bed, and soft lighting. The night light is not glaring when you wake up to the alarm in the morning. The bedside table has an electronic clock that can connect to your phone via Bluetooth to set music, very smart. 🍽️Dining options include a lobby bar, Chinese restaurant, all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, and tea room, totaling 5 restaurants & bars. Fujian people love tea, so the hotel has a special tea room "Luyatai" on the 26th floor. The lobby bar offers tea, coffee, and various drinks during the day and transforms into a bar with live performances by foreign singers at night. 🍴The breakfast variety is comprehensive, including Fuzhou specialties like fish balls, noodle paste, porridge + pickles, and the cake area is decorated with fondant! 🏊🏻‍♀️Gym & Pool: The pool is very clean, and the gym has a yoga room. Doing yoga while enjoying the beautiful scenery is blissful. 🛎️Hotel Service Every staff member is very enthusiastic and polite. If it's your birthday, they will decorate your room in advance, very thoughtful. Personally, I think there are very few five-star hotels in Fuzhou that have such a large area and a bit of a resort feel. Donghu Marriott indeed makes people more satisfied than many other five-star hotels in Fuzhou. From the hotel decoration to the variety and taste of the dining facilities, everything is quite good.
