Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring, lush greenery in summer, fiery maple leaves in autumn, and plum blossoms in winter. The park features winding trails and spacious lawns suitable for walking, jogging and picnicking. In addition, the park also has a special tea room where visitors can drink tea and feel the charm of traditional tea culture. Chating Park is not only a great place for citizens to relax and unwind, it is also an ideal place for culture lovers to explore history and nature.

Summer has just begun, and the lotus leaves in the park seem to have grown lush overnight, which is quite magical. The Chating Park is a bit of a distance from home, but since it's on the way, I might as well stop by and take a look. Chating Park is located in the center of Fuzhou city, and it is a garden-style urban park dominated by lotus flowers. It was established in 1986 and renovated in 2006, so it has a long history. The architecture in the park mainly features white walls and black tiles. Walking along the stone-paved road, you'll pass by bridges and pavilions, but most of all, there are lotus ponds. Attractions include He Feng Yue Ying (Lotus Wind and Moon Shadow), He Xiang Xi Tai (Lotus Fragrance Stage), and Wang He Ting (Lotus Viewing Pavilion). Chating Park is particularly suitable for taking photos in ancient style or wearing cheongsams and Hanfu. In the evening, it is common to encounter young ladies dressed in cheongsams taking pictures, which is truly a delightful sight. Occasionally, you might see elderly people exercising around the corner, or the elderly discussing enthusiastically in the corridors, which is really quite comfortable. Upon arriving at a place, if the opportunity is right, I like to take a stroll in a nearby park ~ after all, to experience the local life and culture of a place, besides night markets and vegetable markets, parks are actually a good choice, and they are usually free. Tea Pavilion, as the name suggests, was probably a pavilion in the old times where passersby could rest, drink tea, and shelter from the wind and rain. Now there is a Tea Pavilion Park, just a stone's throw away from Fuzhou's city center, Wuyi Square. There is also a subway station nearby, which is very convenient. Today is the vernal equinox, and it's the perfect time to walk in the park. The main entrance is right by the road, where people coming from the south and heading north might impulsively decide to step into the park. As you enter, to the right along the central lake of the park is a winding corridor, with white walls, red railings, black tiles, and grey paths, which are very eye-catching. On one side of the corridor, there are square windows, and on the pink walls, you can vaguely see a few lines of 'On Loving the Lotus', elegant and charming. Walking leisurely, you can see that the park is laid out around an S-shaped lake in the middle. There is a circular stone path, with stone bridges crossing over, and pavilions and boats. It is truly a scene of small bridges, flowing water, and households, with weeping willows and rippling waves. On the stone path to the west, there are some ancient poems carved into the stones, which those interested might silently recite to themselves, expressing their thoughts. Further on, in a grove of bamboo, you come across another stone bridge, leading to a secluded path, full of interest. Crossing the bridge, you see a towering banyan tree ~ Fuzhou is also known as the Banyan City ~ and looking up at the sky from under the tree, you naturally can't see it, which shows how large the canopy is and how lush the branches are. After a full circle, you encounter elderly people exercising in the morning, babies sitting in strollers soaking up the sun, young girls in elegant Hanfu taking photos, uncles leisurely and calmly practicing Tai Chi under the trees..... Of course, there are definitely the aunties dancing in the square at the park entrance...
