Mihara Station on the Sanyo Shinkansen is the site of the main citadel of Mihara Castle. There is a stone wall under the station overpass. I was excited to think, "Oh, Sanjo Sanetomi sat here too!" ·͜· ♡ The Nakamura family originally made their fortune selling "Homeishu," a medicinal sake invented by a Chinese medicine doctor from Osaka. The large storehouse is well preserved in a very impressive tatami room. It's also great that the attendant will give you a brief history explanation when you enter. Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture Blow away all your worries [Ushiroyama Park East Observatory] Location: 252-89 Notohara, Numakuma-cho, Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture We were blessed with fine weather, so we sped off to Ushiroyama Park. It's located at a moderate climb up the mountain. There were a lot of people touring there. We parked our car in the large parking lot, and after climbing a few stairs, we reached the observation deck. The view from the observation deck was spectacular! You can see the Seto Inland Sea. You'll forget about time. Nature is the best after all. It was refreshing. Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture Hamburger made with domestic meat and no additives [Imo Batake] Address: 4177-1 Mizunomi-cho, Fukuyama City The shop is located on the corner of a residential area and is smaller than I expected. I ordered the most popular BLT cheeseburger set. The meat juice was so thick that it would spill if I didn't eat it while sucking it. You can choose from stick potatoes, crescent potatoes, and potato chips. The mango juice was rich and delicious. The weather was nice and pleasant that day, so we decided to eat in a nearby park. I also wanted to eat a croissant. It was just freshly baked. As they said, "Our croissants are packed with filling," the croissants here seemed "heavy." During a business trip to Hiroshima, I went to an amusement park near my hotel on Sunday. I got a free admission ticket from the hotel. Miroku-no-Sato is an amusement park with attractions, a facility called "Dinosaur Park" that is like a dinosaur version of a haunted house, and even a facility called "The Road We Came From Somewhere," which is like a retro Showa-era movie set. I stayed here when I went on a business trip to Hiroshima Prefecture. Tokushima is a shipbuilding town. It's near the ferry terminal. Nearby there is an amusement park called "Miroku-no-Sato" and a bathing facility called "Shinshoji Onsen Showa-no-Yu". However, although there is a convenience store, you can't go to restaurants without a car. (There is a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel) I had no particular inconveniences staying there, but I wonder if the parking lot is on the shipbuilding facility's premises? This is Fukuyama Castle, towering in front of Fukuyama Station. This year marks the 400th anniversary of the castle's construction, and it has been renovated and completed. It is a modern castle built by Katsunari Mizuno, who transferred from Yamatokoriyama as a lord of 100,000 koku of Bingo due to the deprivation of Masanori Fukushima, the lord of Aki and Bingo in 1619. At first, Katsunari was in Kannabe Castle, but he inspected the territory, selected Jokojiyama in Nogami Village as the castle site, and started construction of the castle.
