Another restaurant that everyone recommends when visiting Fuji on the Kawaguchiko side is 'Fuji Tempura Idaten', where you can see Mt. Fuji from the side of the restaurant. This restaurant is located near Kawaguchiko Station. Just walk a little past Lawson and you'll arrive. When you arrive at the restaurant, go in and get a queue number first. We waited for about 30 minutes before we could eat. 🥰 We ordered a set of tempura, choosing to eat it with hot udon to relieve the cold. 👍🏻 The tempura was very delicious. The shrimp was fresh and bouncy, fried until not crispy, just right. The udon noodles were chewy. As for the takoyaki wasabi, we ordered it unexpectedly. Just seeing it made us want to eat it, but it turned out to be very delicious. We almost finished it before the tempura arrived. 😂 When we went, we sat at the bar, so we got to watch the chef fry it fresh. It was very enjoyable. The restaurant has rice, soup, tea, and dipping sauces that you can serve yourself. There are also many condiments for udon to choose from. I like the chili, I don't know what it is, it's spicy and sour. They said it's not available!! 😂 I think someone must be as addicted as me. Now that we've arrived at Fuji, we definitely have to look for the legendary restaurant. 😋 Today, we're going to eat tempura at a popular restaurant among tourists. That's Fuji Tempura Idaten 🍤, located in downtown Kawaguchiko. It's not far from the station, about 10 minutes' walk. 🍤 We arrived at around 1:00 PM. The queue wasn't very long. When we arrived, we had a seat right away. There's a menu to order via tablet, so we ordered a shrimp tempura set. In the set, there's Japanese rice and miso soup, which are refillable for us to get as much as we want. This is awesome! 😋 🍤 Before serving, a staff will put a grill down for us. Then, they'll serve fried potatoes, fried vegetables, and then very large fried shrimp. Each set costs around 1,600 yen (390 baht). It's very worthwhile because the shrimp is so bouncy. The meat is soft and the batter is crispy. It's very fragrant and delicious. It's no wonder that it's a famous restaurant in Kawaguchiko. 🍤 If you have a chance to come to Fuji, I'd like you to come and try it. For sure we have a long queue but they use wait time via technology by get a queue at kiosk and then you can scan QR code on a slip > put your email for notification alert. You can walk around restaurant and wait mail notification when your queue arrive. It so great system. Part of food.
