Natto gratin is a specialty of FUFU Kawaguchiko. It can be enjoyed on the breakfast menu. If you don't like natto, a different menu is provided. When I sat down for breakfast, the staff asked me if I wanted natto gratin or another menu. The restaurant has an atmosphere where you can enjoy the fantastic garden at night, and in the morning, you can see a picturesque view of Mt. Fuji! The menu starts with a jelly that is gentle on the stomach after waking up. Each dish is packed with carefully selected ingredients and the chef's attention to detail. The egg yolk is so soft and round that you'll want to take a photo of it! I topped it with grated yam to make a luxurious egg over rice. I ate too much the night before and thought I wouldn't be able to eat it, but I was surprised that it went down so easily.
