Come visit Louisiana!
I’ve never been to Louisiana before but after this trip I’ll be sure to visits again! Going to the French Quarter was an experience in itself with the live music, delicious market food and sweet deals. You HAVE to try Bésame-Nola, a Latin inspired tapas bar that serves bite sized portions of huge flavors. I had never tried an arepa before and after ordering 2 pork arepas, it will not be my last time. Their portioned Paella was flavorful and was packed with shrimp, mussels, and clams. The rice was moist and delicious. They also had a Cauliflower dish that had Latin spices and edible flowers on it. loved it. the Mfongo with jerk pork was their best seller! and last but certainly not least their Ceviche was fresh with salmon and the chili oil kicked it up a notched.#bucketlistreboot #neworleans #tripblazers #tripblazers

Romantic New Orleans French Quarter. New Orleans was once occupied by the French, so there is still a French area here. This old block with a strong French style has a history of more than 200 years. In 1803, Americans bought large plots of land from Napoleon, most of which were destroyed during the Civil War, and the French district of New Orleans was well preserved. Many of the restaurants here have a history of one or two hundred years, and the exterior of the building maintains the style of the year. Walking through the streets, you can find the home of Napoleon. The most lively area in the French Quarter is Bourbon Street, where bars, restaurants and street performers make it very lively. It is also the location of the American drama "The Vampire of the First Generation", which attracted many people to come to this tour.

New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, only knew about the grilled wings of New Orleans. It was discovered that there was such a beautiful city in the southern United States. New Orleans is the birthplace of jazz, preserved in the old quarter: the French Quarter, and the city of the estuary of the Mississippi River. The history of the black slaves left a lot of ruins and manors here, and it is definitely worth a visit. At this time, tall oak trees, blooming Ziwei, and beautiful photos are not used for coloring.

New Orleans has always been the gastronomic capital of the United States. There are two kinds of cuisines in a city. Crayfish and oysters are also famous. They have smashed a bloody road in the boring hamburger in the United States. Seasoned with a variety of southern spices, it is extremely bold to use, unlike the imaginary American cuisine.
But the local roast chicken wings are really! difficult! eat! Or Chinese KFC's New Orleans roast chicken wings are delicious ~

New Orleans, the old town of the United States at the mouth of the Mississippi River, has a 300-year history.
The street is full of French, surrounded by jazz, the city of voodoo culture, the world's second largest carnival parade, rich and hot crayfish and oysters... rich in layers, sometimes thought to be in Mexico, sometimes thought to be In France, sometimes I think I am in Latin America.

angel or devil, the French district never gives a fixed answer, because they are hard to separate. I love the French-speaking area during the day. Every time I take a few steps, I feel like I am falling back in love. Whether it is a painter, a poet, a magician, a singer or a musician, or even those who run the train, but every word. The diviners who are full of excitement, they can always let people remove all the defenses, and wholeheartedly devote themselves to the interaction with them and get the happiness of being concerned.
When walking in the French Quarter, I usually circumvent those storefronts with expensive paintings and ornaments. The artworks are for sale, but I can't take them at this stage. But there are always some good things that make people feel relaxed, and Erin's poem is one of them.
On the street filled with the joy of saxophone, Erin sat quietly and wrote poetry. She was so quiet that she found her in the noisy street. "Proposition to write poetry", a sky blue sign stands at her feet, Erin raised her head and smiled at me, "I will use the artist on the street to write the theme of poetry," I said.
Erin looked down and thought about inserting the paper into the old-fashioned typewriter. He started to knock it up. I waited quietly for a while before the clarinet band, and a hot poem was sent to me.
Put the ink-stained paper in your pocket. This is what the French area belongs to me. She is different from everything she can see on this land. I will take her away.

Lively Spirit of New Orleans' French Quarter
Immersing myself in the French Quarter of New Orleans was like stepping into a vibrant tapestry of history, culture, and joie de vivre. This historic neighborhood, with its distinct Creole architecture, lively jazz scene, and rich cultural heritage, embodies the unique spirit of New Orleans.
Strolling through the French Quarter, the sound of live jazz music filled the air, spilling out from the numerous bars and clubs that line Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street. The music, an integral part of New Orleans' soul, ranged from traditional Dixieland to smooth contemporary jazz, setting a soundtrack to my exploration.
The architecture of the French Quarter told its own story of the city's diverse past. The colorful buildings with wrought-iron balconies, hidden courtyards, and ornate details reflected the blend of French, Spanish, African, and Caribbean influences that define New Orleans.
A visit to the historic Jackson Square provided a window into the heart of the French Quarter. Surrounded by iconic landmarks like the St. Louis Cathedral, the Cabildo, and the Presbytère, the square buzzed with artists, musicians, and street performers, each adding their flair to the lively atmosphere.
Sampling the local cuisine was a culinary adventure in itself. From beignets and café au lait at Café du Monde to savory gumbo, jambalaya, and po'boys in a local eatery, the flavors of New Orleans are as rich and diverse as its culture.
Exploring the French Market, the oldest public market in the U.S., offered a taste of local life. The market's stalls, selling everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts, souvenirs, and Creole spices, provided a colorful and aromatic shopping experience.
Remember, the French Quarter comes alive at night. While it's important to enjoy the vibrant nightlife responsibly, the evening brings a different, more energetic vibe to the neighborhood, with live music and entertainment on every corner.
My visit to the French Quarter wasn't just a tour through a historic district; it was an immersion into a culture where the past and present coexist harmoniously, celebrated with music, food, and an unwavering festive spirit.

The Heartbeat of New Orleans' French Quarter
My visit to the French Quarter in New Orleans was an unforgettable dive into a neighborhood that pulsates with history, music, and an indomitable spirit. This oldest section of the city, known affectionately as the Vieux Carré, encapsulates the essence of New Orleans’ diverse cultural heritage, from French and Spanish colonial architecture to the vibrant traditions of Mardi Gras and jazz.
Walking through the French Quarter, I was immediately struck by the architectural beauty around me. The historic buildings, with their ornate ironwork balconies and lush courtyards, seemed to whisper stories of the past. Royal Street offered a fascinating array of art galleries and antique shops, each window a glimpse into the city's rich artistic legacy.
The heart and soul of the French Quarter, however, was its music. On Bourbon Street, the air was alive with the sounds of jazz, blues, and zydeco emanating from the numerous bars and clubs. Musicians of all stripes gathered in this historic district, making it a melting pot of musical innovation and a testament to New Orleans' title as the birthplace of jazz.
No visit to the French Quarter could be complete without indulging in the local cuisine. The area is a food lover's paradise, offering everything from beignets and café au lait at Café du Monde to sumptuous Creole and Cajun dishes at centuries-old restaurants like Antoine's and Galatoire's. Each meal was a celebration of New Orleans' culinary heritage, blending French, African, Spanish, and Native American influences.
One of the most memorable experiences was exploring the French Market, the oldest public market in the country. The bustling stalls, selling everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts and souvenirs, showcased the city's vibrant community life and multicultural roots.
But perhaps what struck me most deeply was the enduring spirit of the French Quarter's residents. Despite the challenges faced by the city, from natural disasters to social and economic upheavals, the community's resilience and joie de vivre were palpable. The locals I met were passionate about preserving their unique cultural traditions while welcoming visitors with open arms.
As I left the French Quarter, the melodic strains of a street performer's saxophone followed me, a lingering reminder of the district's enduring allure.
