It is unusual because from outside you see it as a forest area but the roads will bring you into the park and there is even a War Memorial. The elevated location offers a panoramic views of the surroundings and if you have time to stay until sunset, you will get to see behind the horizon too. This Freedom Park has been restricted to visitors and cordoned off to cross the bridge. The surrounding area has also been taken care of and landscaping has created to blend in with the surrounding forest. During spring, you can see some of these cherry blossoms trees blooming too. This park is full of greenery and you can take a rest over here and enjoy the history and culture significance here. This locomotive is preserved and transported here in its original condition and you can get up close for photos. It is part of a larger exhibition in Imjingak Park and symbolize hopes for the future. 1st western style park in Korea

#seoultrip Very first western style park in Korea whose name has changed few times. There is a statue of 5 star General Dogulas MacAurthur. Also several other monuments as well as social club house which must be also very first in Korea. It's located in East Incheon near the China Town. There are pretty and well organized paths. Also, there are a couple of famous monuments; the Korean-USA centennial Monument, the status of MacArthur. It's a great park. I was walking in Chinatown when I decided to take the stairs and hence arrived at the park. It' a quiet place and there's a pavilion where you can see the port area of Incheon.

I took my mother to travel with my mother to the Freedom Park in Incheon, and finally let my mother round a cherry blossom nightmare. Its like seeing the first time I saw cherry blossoms in Busan last year. Its really like being a child. It seems that my route is still very wise, grabbed the tail of the cherry blossoms! The cherry blossoms in Seoul have almost fallen, but Incheon is still a lot~

Jayu Park, or park of Freedom, has held its name ever since October 3, 1957 when a statue of General McArthur, who led the Incheon Amphibious Landing Operation during the Korean War, was erected at the summit of Mt.
