[2025 Tianjin Stay] Travel Guide for Four Points by Sheraton, Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center (Updated Jun)

Guozhan Twin Towers (1) Four Points by Sheraton Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center I went to Tianjin in mid-August and stayed at two newly opened Marriott hotels near the National Convention and Exhibition Center. The overall experience was very good. I will review them in the order of my stay, starting with Four Points by Sheraton. Location: Next to the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Jinnan District, the surrounding area is quiet. Although it is far from the city center, it is a great place to experience a peaceful life or attend an exhibition. Service: I remember calling the front desk at 1 am and they were very helpful. All the staff addressed me by my last name, which was very thoughtful (maybe because the occupancy rate was low, but overall the experience was very good). My room was upgraded to a suite and I was given a humidifier as a gift. The service was excellent. 🛏️ Room: The suite was spacious, with modern and simple decor, a great view, and comfortable bedding. It was very suitable for living, and the desk was also very nice. I worked here for two days. 🔧 Facilities: The facilities were very new, with a Xiaomi air purifier and a nice hair dryer (I don't know the brand). The toiletries were in large bottles, which was more environmentally friendly. The glass was a little dirty, but it didn't matter as it would definitely be maintained regularly. 🍴 Dining: On the first floor, there were many kinds of Tianjin breakfast, and the wontons were authentic Tianjin flavor. The food was fresh and delicious, far exceeding the average hotel at this price. Highly recommended. 🧮 Overall: This was my first time staying at Four Points and checking in at a new hotel. The experience was excellent in all aspects. For a working person like me, being able to work in such a leisurely and quiet place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, is the best experience. 🔷Located at No.8 Guorui Road, Jinnan District, Tianjin, the hotel is adjacent to the Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center. It's about a 40-minute drive from Tianjin Railway Station and Binhai International Airport, and not far from the University Town. 🔷Lightning-fast check-in with friendly front desk staff 😍 who directed us to the restaurant. The mini-bar includes two bottles of water, drip coffee, and tea bags—though you can request more water. The big water bottle wins again! 🔷The room features a comfortable mattress with silky-smooth bedding. The TV is small, but the wireless charging alarm clock is handy. The bathroom is minimalist, equipped with a hairdryer, razor, and hand cream—thoughtful touches 😊. 🔷Breakfast is excellent. When it's less crowded, you can enjoy breakfast at the neighboring Marriott via the corridor. During peak times, breakfast is served on the first floor of the hotel. ✅Decor reflects Tianjin’s ferry culture, great for families with kids ✅Bonus: Free access to the neighboring Marriott’s breakfast and gym—pure bliss! ✅Great views from the windows, and the area is quiet!

🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The hotel is well soundproofed and the environment is clean and tidy. The pool is not only large, but also has clear water, so you can use it with peace of mind. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: The rooms are spacious and new, and the suite upgrade adds a pleasant surprise to the trip. The hotel also has a small children's play area with a reasonable layout, so even young children can have fun. 🛌Supplies/Facilities: The facilities are complete and the free parking is very thoughtful. There are many beds in the pool rest area for your convenience. The lounge offers a variety of hearty dinners to suit different tastes. Although the pool is located at the nearby Four Points by Sheraton, it does not affect its use. 💰Average Cost: This weekend trip was very cost-effective. The hotel was redeemed with 10,000 Marriott points, and the transportation toll was CNY 130. Meals included Ergu Baozi takeout for CNY 22, in-store for CNY 30, Daliang Hotel lunch for CNY 120, and park toys for CNY 20, totaling CNY 322. 💗Other Tips: 1. The hotel lounge opens at 13:00 and offers three kinds of fruit, and egg tarts at 14:30. 2. The breakfast is not particularly outstanding, but there are freshly made jianbing guozi. 3. The Jiyue car is easy to drive, and the one-way trip of more than 100 km is not tiring.

The hotel choice focuses on cost performance. During non-exhibition periods, the price of the Four Points by Sheraton at the Convention and Exhibition Center is extremely beautiful. If you choose to redeem points, it is close to Huazhu, and there is breakfast. The highest configuration Four Points by Sheraton I have ever stayed in, the lobby uses a lot of light-colored marble, the decoration style highlights the marine atmosphere, and the elevator also has porthole-like decorations. The public area is decorated with a suitcase-style film camera. I don't know how the sound quality is when playing. The front desk was upgraded to an executive suite for free when checking in. The room area is about 80 square meters. Seeing that there are children, I specially sent a rainbow unicorn doll. On the existing basis, the customer's experience has been maximized, even stronger than the Sheraton brand. Modern and simple decoration style, green wall tiles and stainless steel edge furniture are full of design sense. Breakfast is in the Marriott Hotel Western Restaurant next door. In addition to a bit of distance, the meal is like Marriott, and there are local special pancakes and fruit to choose from. The Convention and Exhibition Center is just outside the window, and it is very quiet at night. This one should have opened in 2022, the facilities are very new, it is the newest hotel on this trip, and the hardware is quite good. The hotel is located in the middle of the city and the Binhai New Area. This location is a bit embarrassing. The surrounding facilities are very, very few, even less than the Binhai New Area. Basically, you have to eat and live in the hotel. There are few takeaways that can be reached within half an hour. The artwork in the lobby is super design and sci-fi. Platinum upgrade suite. There was a large event at the hotel that day, and the elevator was very crowded. From the guest room to the wine lounge, a group of people were queuing near the elevator. When I came out from the wine lounge, I also queued for a long time. There is a public area on each floor of the hotel, see the picture below. The room is marked with 90 square meters, the facilities are very new, the style is biased towards young people, it is definitely the tone of young people, a change from the old cadre style in Jinzhou before, and it is also my style. There is really nothing around, even a bit desolate. Equipped with capsule coffee machine, capsules are replenished every day. hh has a separate introduction, so I won't repeat it. Breakfast should be a shared area with Four Points by Sheraton. I see that the area on the Four Points by Sheraton side is not open. I didn't go early, the breakfast tasted mediocre, the meal replenishment speed was okay, at least there would be no empty plates. The pancake fruit looks average, so I didn't taste it. The child is still lazy, continue to pack breakfast, different from the previous two homes to pack meals, here you take enough, the waiter will help you pack, and will kindly ask you if you need to pack milk, thumbs up! The swimming pool is 1.4 meters, and there are lifeguards for long-term supervision. They will remind some bear children not to dive. This must be praised. A child jumped at least three times next to me, and the parents next to him said nothing, and stretched out their thumbs. The gym equipment is rich in variety. A mediocre stay, it's quite good to use this as the end of the Northeast trip, I wish the hotel better and better.

It's a bit old but well maintained. There is a multi-directional conversion head on the bedside table for mobile phones and tablets, and the air conditioning is comfortable. This time we were given a north-facing room (Tianjin does not have due south or due north, it faces north slightly east:P), which is opposite the customs inspection building.
