Perhaps, only by checking in here can you find the relaxing vacation you've been looking for. My ideal vacation is leisurely, comfortable, and spontaneous. Maybe you don't even need to leave the hotel to find the relaxed atmosphere you crave. 🏨 We booked a standard room at the Four Points by Sheraton Suzhou, Wujiang, and luck was on our side! At check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a suite. The suite was decorated in a modern minimalist style, with a spacious and comfortable living room, a separate walk-in closet, and a tea and coffee bar. The bathroom featured a separate shower and bathtub, and the European-style bathtub shimmered invitingly under the lights. The thought of a relaxing petal bath to wash away fatigue immediately came to mind. A small study exuded a subtle scholarly atmosphere, and through the study was a bright and spacious bedroom. A cozy and comfortable king-size bed was covered with clean and soft linens, promising a good night's sleep. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a cup of coffee in the hotel lobby and strolled around the hotel at our leisure. Smiles lit up our faces as we explored. Young guests were surfing the web in the e-sports room, the fitness center was filled with the scent of hard work, and the cheerful laughter of children could be heard through the door of the small children's play area, radiating their infectious energy and cuteness. We enjoyed afternoon tea outdoors, basking in the warm spring sunshine, savoring delicious cakes, and petting a cute little cat. This relaxing and carefree vacation was truly wonderful. 🦞 We stumbled upon the hotel's Yi Ke Le Restaurant, which was hosting a lobster buffet dinner. Dozens of different lobster dishes opened our eyes (and our stomachs!), and the taste was simply divine. We ate until we were stuffed. This might be the restaurant with the most diverse lobster dishes in Suzhou, and I highly recommend trying it. 🍺 A glass of authentic craft beer marked the beginning of our evening entertainment, and we didn't even have to leave the hotel to experience Suzhou's nightlife. We enjoyed some delicious barbecue, a couple of craft beers, and settled into the soft sofas in the hotel lobby, listening to live music. The aroma of malt from the craft beer was the perfect start to an enchanting evening. It was truly captivating and intoxicating. After a good night's sleep, we woke up naturally and enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the hotel restaurant. A bowl of Suzhou-style braised pork noodles, a bowl of plain rice porridge with crispy fried dough sticks, some delicious cake, and a cup of coffee – whether you prefer a Chinese or Western breakfast, you'll find something to your liking here. 🚴🏻‍♀️ The hotel also offers Brompton bike rentals, allowing you to experience the charm of old Suzhou. The pizzas are thin-crust with generous toppings, and the aroma when they come fresh out of the oven is irresistible. The pumpkin soup is sweet, salty, and creamy, with a rich and satisfying flavor. 2. Suzhou Four Points by Sheraton The hotel is relatively old, and the layout of the suite is a bit strange. There is a hall between the bathroom and the bedroom. The hall is not big, with solid wood furniture. This time, I stayed in a lake view room. Although it is a suite, the bathroom is relatively small. The shower is only enough for one person, and the toilet has an added smart toilet seat, which feels mismatched. Overall, the experience is not very good. Food: The executive lounge is relatively simple, located on the first floor. There are not many dishes and drinks, mostly vegetarian dishes, which are all soupy and not very appetizing. The breakfast variety is very average, it is noisy, and some dishes are not clean. Overall, the experience is not very good, and I probably won't come back next time. Swimming pool: There is a standard swimming pool and a small children's pool. The water temperature is suitable. It is on the second floor, not in the basement. There is a sauna room, but I didn't use the shower area, so I'm not sure about it. Overall, it is relatively old. The nearby Dushu Lake is nice to walk around. In the city center, I mainly considered three: Four Points by Sheraton Suzhou, Four Points by Sheraton Suzhou Wuzhong, and AC Hotel by Marriott Suzhou. In the end, I decided to experience the Four Points by Sheraton in Suzhou Wuzhong District. Four Points by Sheraton Suzhou Wuzhong is located in Wuzhong District, Suzhou. The transportation is relatively convenient, with a 10-minute walk to the subway station. The lobby is warmly decorated, and although it is not large, it has all the necessary facilities. The hotel is located in the old town, surrounded by houses with black tiles, which is very picturesque. On a clear day, you can see the Gate of the Orient from the room, witnessing the blend of old and new Suzhou, the ancient and the modern. The standard room rate is generally over 500 yuan, making it suitable for both business and tourism. The only slight drawback is the average service.
