Fourpoint by Sheraton Patong
This hotel may not be luxurious, but it is considered a 4-star hotel in the Marriott group that has just opened on Patong Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Phuket.
The hotel is designed in a U shape with a swimming pool along the building, so the first floor rooms will have Pool Access rooms for those who like to swim and want to get into the pool easily. This room option is a good choice. There are 10 guest rooms in total here, 9 of which are inside in a U shape with 4 passenger elevators. However, for buildings 4, 5 and 6, you must use the innermost elevator if you stay from the 5th floor onwards because it is the innermost building. However, this layout can be confusing, especially the elevator in the middle of building 5. On the 1st floor, there is no sign to show the way to the elevator, so you don't know if there is an elevator. And you can't use every elevator and go to every building because the number of floors is not the same. It can be confusing for first-timers. And the newest building is the building closest to the beach. Every room can see the sea, but it may be blocked by trees.
However, this stay was in a One Bedroom Suite in building 5. The room has a sea view, but it is a bit far. There is no balcony in the room. There are 2 bathrooms. There is a shower room and a bathtub in the bedroom. The room design is proportioned well for me. It is spacious and not stuffy. The air conditioner is cool and comfortable. The bed is soft and comfortable. The blanket is good. The TV is big. The room has a coffee maker. The mini bar is not provided but you can request it with a price for each package. Ice is not free. It costs 50 baht per bucket, but I didn't ask for it. I don't know if it's free during this period, but there is a price listed.
For food, if you go to the latest new restaurant on the beach, Sears & Co. Bar & Grill, they recommend southern food but the taste is really southern. I tried the pork hong, sour curry with sea bass, and grilled pork neck. It was very delicious and spicy. I was impressed. I used my credit to its full potential.
As for breakfast, there is a variety. There is everything: Thai food, Western food, Indian food, Chinese food, and local food that changes every day. Green curry, clear soup, stir-fried beans, with a southern feel. Delicious.
Finally, the service is considered lovely and the staff provided excellent service even though there were a lot of guests on that day and time. The staff were very cheerful and friendly. I was impressed.
I booked in February. The price of the suite room I stayed in was 2,500 Net per night, excluding breakfast. #Very good accommodation promotion
