Tested! Four Points by Sheraton Guangzhou, Dongpu, perfect for family trips! I recently took my family to Guangzhou and stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Guangzhou, Dongpu. The experience was amazing, so I had to share it with you! 🏨 Hotel exterior and location: The hotel has a traditional Chinese garden style, and you feel a sense of peace and relaxation as soon as you step inside. It is part of the same group as the Marriott Hotel and Element Hotel, and they share a common area. The location is great, right next to Baiyun Culture Square Station on Line 2. Nearby are CapitaMall Yunshang, 5th Runway Shopping Mall, and Guangzhou Children's Park, making it convenient for shopping and taking the kids out. 🧹 Soundproofing/cleanliness: The hotel is very clean, the rooms are tidy, and the soundproofing is good, so it's quiet at night. 🏘️ Room type/layout: I booked a selected twin room, which was just the right size and had a reasonable layout. However, the bathroom is relatively small, with only a shower and no bathtub. When showering, you need to pull the hidden doors on both sides of the sink, which is more convenient. 🛌 Supplies/facilities: The bed is really comfortable, as expected from a Marriott hotel, and the quality is guaranteed. The hotel has a gym and swimming pool. Although the pool is outdoors and gets direct sunlight in the morning and afternoon, the facilities are well maintained. There is a children's club in the common area, which is shared by the three hotels, and you need to register your room number to enter. The children's club is a good experience, and there aren't many kids on weekends, so the kids can play to their heart's content. 💰 Per capita consumption: I booked for less than CNY 600, which included breakfast for two. The price on other platforms is about CNY 600, so the price difference is not big, and the cost performance is quite high. 🍳 Dining: Breakfast is served in the buffet restaurant on the first floor, with a wide variety and great taste. There are 6 types of porridge, more Western baked goods, and relatively fewer Chinese dim sum, but the overall taste is very good. 💁‍♂️ Service: The hotel staff are enthusiastic, respond quickly, and are very professional. They smile and greet guests, and even chat and play with my daughter, which is very friendly. 💗 Other tips: 1. The hotel has a large common area and a Peninsula Restaurant. Most areas have a roof design, so you can walk around without getting sunburned, which is very pleasant. 2. This hotel is suitable for business and family trips. Although the children's facilities are not used much, this means that the kids won't be crowded when playing and can have more fun. My stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Guangzhou, Dongpu was really good, and I was satisfied with the location, facilities, and service. Ours room upgraded to Studio Suite. The well designed room and very comfortable & the Breakfast was perfect. All staff were very friendly & helpful. According to the floor plan, there are 2 rooms of this type on each floor. Being able to upgrade is already a big plus, especially for entry-level novices. 🔖 Interior decoration: The public area front desk is adjacent to the lobby bar. The lobby bar offers craft beer and is equipped with a billiard table. The view faces the park area, featuring Lingnan garden style and is close to Marriott and Element. 🔖 The room's entrance, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet are all separated by sliding partitions. The layout is reasonable and comfortable. After working overtime on Saturday, I checked in in the afternoon, and the welcome fruits were already placed. The room style is the new unified Four Points by Sheraton. 🔖 The location is suitable for layovers and high-speed rail transfers.

The guest rooms are exquisitely modern in style, with dark wood finishes and warm jade tones. We stayed in a single room with a bathtub🛁 and huge floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a view of the park⛲️ outside. The hotel is close to Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area and Yunxi Ecological Park⛲️. Nearby are Guangzhou Gymnasium, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Center, Guangzhou Children's Park, and other leisure facilities, as well as important business travel venues such as Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center. The Fifth Runway, Shopping Plaza, Wanda Plaza, and CapitaMall are three large complexes that also meet the needs of dining, entertainment, and shopping in the surrounding area. Since we checked into the Marriott Hotel too late😭 and only stayed for one night, we didn't have enough time to take pictures of the entire hotel! P14-18 Guangzhou R&F Ritz-Carlton was renovated in 2021. The hardware is well maintained. Located in Zhujiang New Town, convenient for travel. The European palace-style design is very classic. The view from the tower rooms is also quite impressive. The outdoor swimming pool is also a highlight, instantly transporting you to Rome. The service is friendly and meticulous. Guangzhou Baiyun Conference Center Four Points by Sheraton 1. Location: The hotel complex is right outside the Baiyun Cultural Square subway exit. In a city as congested as Guangzhou, traveling by subway is the best choice, and this property is also conveniently located half an hour from the airport. 2. Hardware: Definitely high-end, with capsule coffee machines as standard in the rooms. Although there's no bathtub, the materials used are better than many Marriotts. 3. Service: The staff are courteous and have a strong initiative to serve. In places like the gym and swimming pool where service can often fall short, the staff manage to greet you with a smile. 4. Took a stroll to the Marriott's public area, the new generation Marriott is really beautiful, with solid materials and a plant design that is refreshing. The lounge design on the first floor is a bit surprising, and it was not open. In summary, this hotel is positioned as a convention hotel, but the service and hardware are not just perfunctory. Series - Due to the early morning flight at Baiyun International Airport, I chose to stay in Guangzhou one day in advance and chose the Yuexiu Sheraton Hotel at the Baiyun International Convention Center in Baiyun, Guangzhou. 📍Detailed address - No. 14, Yuncheng Middle Second Road, Yuncheng Street, Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province 🚗Traffic strategy - If you don't want to bother with the subway transfer, you can choose to take the high-speed rail to Guangzhou South Station. After exiting the station, take Line 2 directly to Baiyun Park Station D exit and you can see the Marriott Hotel Group. The Sheraton is among them. I chose to take a taxi to the airport, and you can reach Baiyun Airport within half an hour. 🖼️Hotel environment - The hotel is positioned as a business hotel, without the gimmicks and highlights of a resort hotel. The overall is very new, not long after opening, you can still smell a little residual decoration taste when you enter the room. But the advantage is that the hardware is complete, the capsule coffee machine is high in value, and you can have a coffee break in the room. The Empress Chair sofa area also has slightly designed lighting, and there are paintings of local architecture on the wall. Even if it is a stereotyped brand hotel, it tries to incorporate a bit of local flavor as much as possible.
