Students will be moved to tears. You must stay at this hotel when you come to Changsha!
Review and check-in experience of Four Points by Sheraton Changsha, Meixi Lake
I chose Four Points by Sheraton Changsha, Meixi Lake for this business trip, and I had a great experience.
Location and value for money
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it is a good value for money for those who work in the Meixi Lake area. The surrounding scenery is not outstanding, but it has significant advantages in terms of decoration, dining, and gym compared to Hyatt Place, and the price is not much different.
Facilities
The gym is well-equipped, with a Smith machine and a cable machine, and all the basic equipment is available, all of which are Matrix brand. There is also a stretching machine, which is very useful for those who need to stretch.
Dining
The breakfast is not comparable to high-end hotels like Grand Hyatt and Jinmao Hotel, but it is excellent among hotels of the same price range. The chili used in the chili fried pork noodles is fresh and green, and the fruit is not abundant, with oranges, watermelons, dragon fruits, melons, etc., but the quality is guaranteed, which can meet the nutritional needs of business travelers for a day. The bread in the Western section is not to be expected too much, but it can also meet basic needs. There is a Starbucks downstairs, which is very convenient. Although there is no executive lounge, it is also pleasant to enjoy happy hour in the lobby bar and have a cup of coffee or tea.
Transportation and hotel design
The hotel is a newly opened Marriott hotel located in the south of Changsha, with convenient transportation. It takes a little more than half an hour from the airport and only 20 minutes from Changsha South Railway Station. It is a ten-minute walk to the nearest Railway Institute Station on Line 1. The hotel is designed according to the latest Four Points standard, with a suitable room size, equipped with a bed and a leisure sofa. The bathroom design is outstanding, with a lighting surface, a width greater than the depth, high comfort, and an electric toilet.
Breakfast and service
The hotel's breakfast is impressive. The restaurant is not large, but the environment is pleasant, and the layout is reasonable, with an island-style layout that shortens the dining line, and the hot and cold food areas are separated. The noodle section offers noodles, rice noodles, and wontons, with rich toppings, such as braised beef, meat sauce, and shredded pork with pickled vegetables, all of which are delicious, and the stir-fried dishes are also great. The fruit area is rich in fruit, with honeydew melon, nectarines, etc. The hotel service is good, with welcome drinks, and the front desk also has small drinks and snacks, making the whole check-in experience great.
