This was perhaps the quietest garden of all that we've visited in Tokyo with a very limited number of visitors, most of whom were local. The garden was originally built in the early 20th century by a wealthy businessman named Zenjiro Yasuda, and was later donated to the city of Tokyo. One of the standout features of the garden is its miniature landscape, which includes a large pond filled with koi fish, and a variety of beautiful trees and flowers accessible by the stepping stones with several benches scattered along the pathway, offering a perfect spot to appreciate the beauty of the garden. The garden is meticulously maintained, and every corner offers a picturesque view making it a perfect spot for those of you looking for a picture perfect spot. One of the most impressive aspects of the garden is its ability to transport visitors to a different time and place. Despite being located in the heart of Tokyo, the garden's tranquil atmosphere feels like a world away from the city's hustle and bustle.

#AutumnTravel Ryogoku. The former residence of Yasuda Zenjiro, who came to Tokyo from Toyama and established the Yasuda Zaibatsu. (Originally the residence of an Edo feudal lord) Donated to Tokyo, it has survived many earthquakes and now admission is free. The Sword Museum is also nearby. It was a bit rainy, but Yasuda is from Hokuriku. The garden also had a Hokuriku feel, rain suits the Hokuriku region. Or so the Ishikawa resident felt.

About a 15-minute walk from Kaminarimon in Asakusa and a 5-minute walk from Ryogoku Station, there is a garden called Kyu-Yasuda Garden. It's free to enter and there aren't many people, but you can take some amazing photos during the autumn leaves season from November to December. I think you can see cherry blossoms in spring. The garden itself takes about 5 minutes to walk around, and although it's small, it's compact and beautiful. There are shops nearby where you can try on a kimono and take photos, so if you have the budget, I recommend you go. It's perfect for Instagram, and I think this place should become more popular. #JuneTravelSupportEvent I visited the park near my relative's house. It was a private garden, but it was free to visit. I was able to take a walk on my second visit because it was a holiday, and there is a building on the right side of the entrance, and in front of it is a well-organized garden with a pond and many trees. It is wide enough to take a long walk, and you can also enjoy the stone pagodas.

Komatome Inari Shrine in Sumida Ward, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 In 1631, a typhoon caused a major flood on the Sumida River. This area on the east side was hit particularly hard by the flooding. While everyone was scared of the severity of the flooding, the bannerman "Abe Bungonokami Tadaaki" crossed the river to check the damage. It is said that he stopped his horse to rest at this Komatome Stone. Komatome Inari Shrine was enshrined by the local people to honor the virtue of the bannerman. It is located in the former Yasuda Garden, which can be visited for free. There is also a well next to the large stone 🪨. The shrine is small, but on both sides are engraved with the names of many people who donated to the shrine, along with the plaques that were donated. The slightly muscular lion statues are very charming. Sumida Ward Kyu-Yasuda Garden in Sumida Ward, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 During the Genroku period (1688-1703), it was landscaped as a feudal garden by Honjo Munesuke, the lord of Ashikaga Domain in Shimotsuke Province and later the first lord of Kasama Domain in Hitachi Province. At the time, it was a stroll-style garden with water drawn from the Sumida River. (It is now an artificial pump.) Honjo Munesuke was the younger brother of Tokugawa Tsunayoshi's mother, Keishoin. It is a compact garden, but it is lush with greenery. In the center is the Shinji Pond, which is said to be shaped like the character for "heart." There are also lanterns and a shrine, making it perfect for a short walk! You can also see the Skytree from the garden.
