The old site of the Jiangsu Advocate is being restored.
On Daoqian Street in Suzhou, there is the former site of the Jiangsu Prosecution and Prosecution Office. It was originally the Military Preparation Road Office in the Ming Dynasty (hence the name "Daoqian Street"). It was occupied by the High Court and later used by municipal authorities. Recently, in order to protect the ancient city, some municipal offices have been moved away, and the old Jiangsu Provincial Inspectorate is under renovation and restoration. Not far to the south is the Jiangsu Provincial Prison, which is now a police museum.
Therefore, after admiring the ginkgo trees on Daoqian Street in early winter, you can turn to the former site of Jiangsu Province to see the ancient trees, drink a cup of coffee, and understand the history.

Suzhou, the most beautiful place I'm reluctant to share. It's too beautiful!
✨The hidden beauty of Suzhou, a beautiful place to explore for free!
✔️Suzhou, this ancient city hides many beautiful corners unknown to people. Today I will reveal a beautiful and niche free check-in place
-Jiangsu Anchashi Mansion.
📍Location: Jiangsu Anchashi Mansion is located at Q170, Daoqian Street, Gusu District, a quiet place known to few people.
🚌Transportation guide: Take the bus to Jili Bridge Station, or take the subway to Yangyu Lane Station and walk about 1 kilometer to reach.
🎫Ticket information: Free admission (except for some self-funded projects).
🌈Travel strategy:
Stepping into this ancient official mansion, you will find that it is quite deep, and you will pass through the ceremonial gate, the main hall, the second hall, and the inner house in turn. Each entry is full of historical charm.
🌸On the left side of the main hall, there is a hidden typical Suzhou garden.
There are pavilions, small bridges and rockeries here, and the scenery is beautiful. You can also take a break in the tea room here, invite three or five friends, taste tea and enjoy the scenery, and feel comfortable.
✨In addition, there is a private lacquerware exhibition hall (self-funded) next to the garden, allowing you to appreciate the charm of traditional Chinese craftsmanship while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
🌲In front of the inner house is Beiyuan, a narrow and long rockery pool corridor runs through it, quiet and elegant. There are also many ancient trees and famous trees scattered in the garden. Among them, a 300-year-old Magnolia denudata is particularly eye-catching. There are also several osmanthus trees over a hundred years old, exuding a faint fragrance.
🏦The entire building complex is large in scale, and the buildings are connected by corridors. Walking among them, it seems to travel through time and space and return to that ancient age.
✅Surrounding recommendations:
🔸In the Golden Lion Campus diagonally opposite, you can taste coffee, visit the buyer's shop, and feel the blend of modern and classical.
🔸Kuang Gongci in Ximei Lane to the east, and the coffee shop on the street corner, are all good places with few people and comfortable, worth exploring.
👉🏻Suzhou, every corner of this city hides beauty and surprises.
✔️Jiangsu Anchashi Mansion is such a niche place worth savoring. Come here and feel this unique tranquility and beauty!
