The French Concession of Shanghai has so much great food to offer... Tonight I decided so satisfy my craving for Thai Food at Kin Restaurant! Food and drinks are absolutely delicious and worth the wait!!! (be warned... there's often a waiting line, because it's that good!)🍹🍜 The restaurant itself is also quite pretty, with a nice vibe and colorful decorations. Looks like that one of my favorite hobbies in Shanghai is to eat Italian food!.. I mean, as in Italian myself, I have to admit that Shanghai has some absolutely delicious and authentic food from my home country, so I couldn't be happier! This time we tried the restaurant La Baracca located in the French Concession. We got: - Cynar Spritz - Passion fruit spritz - Bruschetta with salame, burrata cheese and tomatoes - Calzone with chicken and mozzarella cheese - Italian beer Everything was delicious! Known for its delicious crepes and pasta, this charming spot lived up to its reputation in every way. Upon arrival, I noticed a significant wait time, almost an hour, which initially seemed daunting. However, the vibrant atmosphere and the anticipation of highly recommended food made the wait bearable. Plus, it’s always a good sign when a place is bustling with eager patrons. The interior of RAC Coffee and Bar is inviting and stylish, with a cozy yet modern vibe. Once seated, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome despite the busy environment. The menu is impressive, featuring a variety of delectable options, but I opted for their famous crepes and pasta. The crepes were absolutely divine – perfectly thin and crispy, with a rich, flavorful filling that melted in my mouth. The pasta was equally outstanding, cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients and a deliciously savory sauce. The coffee at RAC also deserves a mention. Rich and aromatic, it was the perfect complement to the meal, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. Despite the wait, the overall experience at RAC Coffee and Bar was well worth it. The combination of excellent food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere made it a memorable visit. The french concession located close to the yu garden is in Shanghai, which is a lovely and foreigner friendly area with so many things to do. My Tips: I hilighy suggest to visit during the daytime. The area is green with many photographic restaurants and special shops you will only find here. There is an amazing place called CoffeeTree with delicious Western food, and i highly recommend it. Faust cafe is located on Tianping road 216. It is a cute and quiet street in the Former French Concession. It is easy to walk to the cafe from both Xujiahui and Jiaotong university subway stations. This cozy cafe has an outside area with comfy seats, however ,bear in mind, their outside seats tend to be quite busy. We sat indoors and we were not disappointed; Faust has a very comforting interior design and light. Another highlight was their matcha latte! It was absolutely amazing! ##shanghaicafe #shanghai

#timetotravel This is a pleasant walk if you want to see stunning and old architecture. We walked so far but I didn't even feel tired because I was so amused with the surroundings. I felt like I was in Europe or a movie set. This place played a massive role in Shanghai's history, I don't want to dig deeper into the history of this place coz this content will become too long. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants so it is a very convenient stroll but be prepared to spend extra coz it is quite expensive here. Enjoy! RAC II, a sophisticated bistrot bar located in the French Concession of Shanghai, didn't fail to impress! The menu features several types of sweet and salty crepes, sandwiches and burgers, and few tasty appetizers to share. 🥞🍔 The happy hour menu is quite convenient, with a selection of drinks and wines at 50% of the price. 🍷🍸 Food was quite tasty, but I especially enjoyed the atmosphere and the pretty interior design!
