The main shrine and sutra repository were standouts, the scale of those buildings leaves you with a real sense of grandeur and humility. The vegetarian restaurants are almost all in the Buddha museum section, where the 8 Pagodas are, and seem all reasonably priced. We started at the other end of the monastery so had eaten by the time we found these. Definitely worth a day trip, especially if you enjoy learning about other religions or cultures

In 2024, the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Hall held an international book fair and vegetarian food expo. There was fun, food and things to see. It was really fun, delicious and nice to see. I always come back with a lot of things every time I go. It’s a pity if you haven’t been there. For those who didn’t have time to go this year or haven’t been there..., you must go and see it next year~ Great!
