Tonglu, a city just an hour away from Hangzhou, offers such stunning scenery and fun that two days here won't feel enough! 🌄🏞️ 🌞 Day 1: Heartbeat Park—Shishe Village The first stop is Heartbeat Park, which has many interesting attractions such as Sky Road Flying and Glass Rafting, as well as a 20-degree ultra-cool fantasy cave, making it the best choice for lazy people to take their kids and escape the heat! For lunch, you can enjoy authentic Tonglu local dishes at Pangpo Restaurant, with stir-fried chicken and potato pancakes being must-tries. In the afternoon, head to Shishe Village and stroll along the Maling Ancient Path, where the boardwalk by the creek offers breathtaking views. The village also has ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties that you can slowly appreciate. Here, you can feel a sense of seclusion, as if you've traveled back in time. 🌜 Day 2: Maoping Village—Luci Village—Daqi Mountain On the second day, visit Maoping Village, which has a few quaint, artistic, and serene teahouses that I absolutely love for their sense of seclusion. Then head to Luci Village, perfect for taking kids to play in the water during summer! The water is clear, the crowds are sparse, and it's cool. Playing all the way to the upstream Baiyun Source is also great. In the afternoon, visit Daqi Mountain, where the clear blue lake water is home to small fish, resembling a mini Jiuzhaigou! Hidden in the deep mountains of Tonglu, it takes about 1.5h to drive from Yiwu to Tonglu, but the last 20 minutes of the journey up the mountain is on a narrow two-way lane that is almost single-lane in width. Friends who drive there should definitely slow down and be careful. It's best for novice drivers to be accompanied by an experienced driver! The environment is surrounded by mountains and forests, with streams flowing, and the collision of loess walls and modern structures exudes a high-end yet natural feeling. The front desk of the guesthouse is located inside the capsule bookstore.
