The communal tea area in the homestay is available to all guests. The first floor has books, tea gifts, and tea sets, with both indoor and outdoor tea areas. There are separate small tea rooms on both sides of the outdoor area, where the dappled shadows of trees are beautiful in the evening. The top floor also has a tea space with floor-to-ceiling windows, a perfect place to "draw river water to brew fresh tea, and buy all the green hills as a painted screen."
