Dali Treasure Found! This Seaview Inn at Caicun Pier, Just a Window Away from Erhai Lake
After days of planning before coming to Dali, I finally found my dream "inn"! Huazhu's Yihai Yisu truly has "zero distance to Erhai Lake" embedded in its DNA. After staying for 3 days, I simply didn’t want to leave.
Location is absolutely scream-worthy
Right in the core area of Caicun Pier, just a 3-minute walk to the Erhai Lake ecological corridor! No need to squeeze into crowded scenic spots; step outside and you can stroll or ride a small electric scooter along the lakeside. At dusk, watch the sunset dye the lake golden red—every snap is a healing masterpiece~
Authentic Bai-style courtyard perfect for photos
The inn is a genuine Bai ethnic residence renovation, with blue tiles and white walls paired with bougainvillea in the courtyard. Entering feels like stepping into Dali’s spring! The rooftop terrace is a hidden gem, furnished with rattan chairs and a small tea table. Enjoy tea and sunshine while watching Erhai Lake by day, and gaze at the starry sky by night—romantic to the core~
Room details that touched my heart
The sea view room I booked is simply divine! The extra-large floor-to-ceiling window faces Erhai Lake directly. Woken up by sunlight and birdsong in the morning, you open your eyes to the shimmering lake surface, healing all fatigue~ The bedding is as soft as clouds, the bathroom has a dry-wet separation and even a smart toilet—attention to detail maxed out!
Heartwarming service adds extra points
The owner and staff are local young ladies who really know how to have fun! They not only helped us plan a route around the lake but also recommended authentic snacks at Caicun Market (the Rushan cheese and Sachima are truly amazing). They even helped us get good deals on renting electric scooters and buying fresh flower cakes, no pitfalls at all~ Every morning’s breakfast includes freshly cooked rice noodles and Bai-style pancakes, warm and comforting!
Nearby activities
Thanks to the excellent location, there are plenty of rich and convenient activities nearby:
