🌸Who wouldn’t love to see a cherry blossoms tree? My friends and I got lucky to see some cherry blossoms at Flora Garden. While heading to the cable car from Guia Light house, I noticed the pink flowers from the tree and so happy to saw some cherry blossoms.. Though it’s not as bloom like in the other countries but still a mesmerizing beauty of cherry blossoms.. The former Erlonghou Palace was the official residence of the Governor of Macau in the early part of this century. After the Governor of Macau moved out, the courtyard was opened to the public and was converted into a park. Erlonghou Park, because the garden site on the left side of the entrance was originally the property of Hong Kong Sir Robert Ho Tung, a gentleman, and a wall was built there, called Ho Tung Hill. When the park was expanded, Ho Tung donated the adjacent mountain land, so it is also called Ho Tung Gardens. The park is planted with a variety of flowers and trees, and has built pools, set up seats, and raised birds. The garden is filled with green trees and red flowers, stone steps lead to secluded pine hills, mountain springs flow gurglingly, duckweed ripples in the pond, and birds and animals roam in cages. This is a European style garden, situated just beneath Guia Hill. The garden centres around a pedestrian avenue lined with palms and flowering shrubs. There is a decent flowered fountain just below the hill, a few bird cages as well as a sloth bear enclosure, which is neat to see if the bear is active.
