Look at the Meili Snow Mountain in the Feilai Temple Observation Deck. Jinshan
Why do you want to climb? Because the mountain is there.
However, the peak of the Meili Snow Mountain, Kavabog, although more than 2,000 meters lower than Mount Everest, is still a snow-capped mountain that has not yet reached the summit.
A large number of Tibetan Buddhism believers come to Meili Snow Mountain to go to the mountain in the mountains. In their hearts, they need to turn to Meili Snow Mountain three times, once for the father, once for the mother, once for the sake of themselves. Every turn of the mountain means that you are one step closer to dreaming of heaven.
want to take a panoramic view of the 13th peak of Meili Snow Mountain. In addition to the foggy ceiling of Baima Snow Mountain, the Feilai Temple Observation Deck is actually more convenient. It doesn't have to get up too early to occupy the place. Thirteen Peaks, want to see Rizhao Jinshan? It takes only 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the viewing platform.
long guns and short guns have long occupied the best position. I feel that looking for a telescope and coin-operating to get closer to the snow-capped mountains feels better. You can clearly see the goshawk circling and the top of the mountain is thick. Snow can not help but sigh the wonders of nature.
I feel that I will not be bored when I stay here for a day, because whether it is sunshine Jinshan, Xizhao Yinshan, and the clouds are surrounded by half-covering, various angles and various forms, how to see how to shoot is not a taste. From here, the Meili Snow Mountain can be photographed with the help of the White Tower, and the prospects are rich.

㊙ Professional trekking knowledge
✅ Wear comfortable clothes, fit but not too loose or tight, and easy to put on or take off according to temperature changes. If you have long hair, tie it up to avoid obstructing your vision.
✅ Wear a pair of suitable sports shoes; tie the shoelaces tightly, just enough so they don't hurt your feet, this will prevent toe pain after walking for a long time.
✅ Protect your knees to avoid patella injuries and meniscus wear. Here's a tip: no matter how sore your legs are, keep your knees relaxed and slightly bent when walking downhill, don't keep them straight.
✅ When going uphill, take big steps but move slowly, avoid putting your weight on a single knee to protect it, and don't put your weight on the front leg when stepping forward, but use your hips to power through.
✅ Maintain steady breathing and heart rate, don't rush to run fast, keep a stable condition.

Travel together to Yubeng and give your soul a good rest, letting your body completely relax!
If you don't go to heaven, go to Yubeng. This was the conclusion of hiking enthusiasts more than a decade ago about Yubeng Village in Diqing, Yunnan. Trekking in the highland forests is both a challenge and a pleasure. It's really enjoyable to go trekking in Yubeng with a few good friends. What are the things to pay attention to and the budget considerations?
1. Itinerary: Yubeng Village is quite large, with three mature trekking routes: the Ice Lake route, the Sacred Waterfall route, and the Nylam route. The most challenging is undoubtedly the Ice Lake route. It is recommended to stay overnight in lower Yubeng, rest, and then start trekking after watching the sunrise the next morning. The easiest route might be the Sacred Waterfall route, which has already been well developed.
2. Ticket budget: The current ticket price for Yubeng Village is 70 yuan, with ticket offices at the entrance of the village. Currently, tickets cannot be purchased online and must be bought on-site, but non-cash payments are supported. There are off-road vehicles from the entrance to upper Yubeng for 200 yuan per person, and from upper to lower Yubeng for 260 yuan per person. It is recommended to go just to upper Yubeng, as the stations for upper and lower Yubeng are very close to each other, and there's no need to waste an extra 60 yuan. The budget for tickets is 70 + 200×2 = 470 yuan.
3. Accommodation budget: Both upper and lower Yubeng Village have a considerable number of guesthouses. Although recent commercial development has taken away some of the original ecological charm, the accommodation conditions have improved a lot. The average cost for a standard guesthouse is around 300 yuan, while high-end homestays average about 800 yuan. The guesthouse where I stayed, which had a view, was an economical type costing 350 yuan per night. However, ordinary guesthouses in Yubeng do not provide toiletries and toothbrushes, which must be purchased separately. The cost for staying 2 nights in a guesthouse is 700 yuan.
4. Food budget: There are many more places to eat in Yubeng Village than there were ten years ago, and prices have decreased with the market mechanism. In addition to the simple restaurants opened by local Tibetans, there are also Hunan and Sichuan restaurants opened by people from other places. The average cost per person is generally over 100 yuan. The cost of dining for 3 days with friends was 2000 yuan, with an average cost of 1000 yuan per person.
5. Transportation budget: From Shangri-La city center, take a bus directly to Deqin bus station, then transfer to a rural bus to Feilaisi. Usually, you take the rural bus to Xidang Village entrance in the morning, buy a ticket, and enter Yubeng Village. There are 5 buses a day from Shangri-La to Deqin bus station, departing at 9:20, 10:30, 12:30, 14:10, and 15:40, with a ticket price of 62 yuan. It is recommended to buy tickets online in advance, as they can be quite tight. The bus fare from Deqin bus station to Feilaisi is 5 yuan, and from Feilaisi to Xidang Village (Yubeng Village ticket office) is 20 yuan, making the round-trip fare 174 yuan.
In total, the cost for a 3-day, 2-night trip to Yubeng Village is 470 yuan + 700 yuan + 1000 yuan + 174 yuan = 2344 yuan.

🏃♀️Yubeng hiking is a very interesting and fulfilling way of traveling, not only can you enjoy the beautiful scenery of Meili Snow Mountain🗻, but also deeply understand the local Tibetan culture and lifestyle. If you like outdoor sports and natural scenery💯, why not try Yubeng hiking‼️
👣When you walk through the dense forest, cross the clear stream🌊, you can feel the gift and generosity of nature everywhere. The highlight of the trip to Yubeng is to look up at the Meili Snow Mountain🗻, its magnificence and mystery, shock every visitor's heart❣️
How difficult is the route of Yubeng
📍Shenpu (Difficulty⭐): The whole journey is cement road, there are many squirrels, and there is supply
📍Ninong (Difficulty⭐): The whole journey is downhill on the cement road, there is a supply station
📍Ice Lake (Difficulty⭐⭐): The whole journey is uphill, the road is very bad in rainy days, there will be a supply place halfway
📍Nise (Difficulty⭐): The route is similar to Ice Lake, and you can reach the glacier by continuing to crawl two kilometers at the end
📍Shenhu (Difficulty⭐⭐⭐): The whole journey is uphill, it is steeper, it is not recommended to go in rainy days, there is no supply throughout the journey
㊙️What equipment is needed for hiking?
✔Quick-drying clothes + fleece clothes + storm clothes, fleece pants + quick-drying pants / storm pants
✔Choose comfortable, durable, non-slip, and waterproof shoes for hiking shoes
✔Prepare a 20L climbing bag, climbing stick (save effort, reduce knee injury), ice claws, snow covers can be rented in the village
✔Sunscreen, sunglasses, outdoor headscarf, mosquito repellent water; girls can bring sunscreen repair mask
⁉️How to enter Yubeng
There is still a long distance to walk from Xidang intersection to Yubeng Hotel. Backpacks are more convenient, and it is really frustrating to climb up with a suitcase. The luggage consignment is also very expensive, and you can take a cross-country vehicle into the village, 200/person for Yubeng, and 260/person for Yubeng.
‼60km hiking, can the working people who lack exercise do it?
✔Hike a route every day
✔Outdoor leader leads the whole journey
✔Put the luggage in the inn uniformly, and hike lightly
✔Drink coffee and sunbathe in the inn, and tease the cat😸
✔Specific leg training should be carried out half a month in advance
🙋♀What if there is no 7 days?
✅If time is tight, you can also consider starting or ending from Shangri-La, and the traffic from Lijiang to Shangri-La is convenient
✅Choose a 5-day cross-country vehicle to enter and exit Yubeng's itinerary, and you don't need to hike in and out of Yubeng Village, which is more friendly to novices

Meili Snow Mountain | May good luck accompany you all year round
I saw a movie called 'Turning Mountain' a long time ago, and there is a line in it that I still remember. 'It is said that the first sight of entering Deqin, if you can see the thirteen peaks of Meili, you will be lucky for a whole year.', I saw it.
Transportation:
🚗Originally I wanted to choose the kind of itinerary that picks up people at 4 am to watch the sunrise over the golden mountain. But I felt too tired. And I don't know how good the drivers on the internet are, so I gave up.
🚙I didn't get a ride with a similar itinerary at the guesthouse.
🚌So I finally chose the bus, one way 3.5-4 hours, at 'Diqing Jiaoyun' ➡️ Wuyou Travel ➡️ Passenger Bus ➡️ Select date, select Shangri-La Passenger Station - Feilai Temple boarding point. The round trip points are the same. Arrive at the passenger station and the point 20 minutes in advance and there will be no problem. I put the screenshot at the end.
The driver of my trip rested at the Jinsha River Great Bay Viewing Platform, and I also took pictures. I chose the one that leaves at 9:20, and arrived at about 1 o'clock.
🏨: Eye of Meili
My photos p11-p16 were taken in the hotel room and on the balcony, on the 6th floor, the balcony is cornered. Because I use iphone and Canon g7x3 to shoot, although the cornered one is slightly obstructed, but if you find a good angle, there is no problem with the distance, you don't need to put it in the room to shoot. The effect is very good.
Arrived in the afternoon
So I went to Feilai Temple to pray, and when I came back from Feilai Temple, there was a small road up from the side of the viewing platform, where there were a lot of prayer flags. The wind was strong that day, and the Kawa Bo peak gradually revealed the mountain peak in the clouds, and the prayer flags fluttered, as if bringing the call from the distant mountains.
The viewing platform is now free, just go down. I took a few photos and decided to sit in the coffee car and drink coffee while basking in the sun, waiting for the clouds and mist to disperse.
I saw the weather and astronomy on the day, and I knew that I would definitely not see the sunrise over the golden mountain the next day, so I stayed up late to watch the stars, the sky was so good at night~ There was no cloud at all, and the clouds in the morning the next day... I was worried~
I was sleeping all the way back, I felt like I stopped three times, but I returned to the passenger station in a little over 3 hours, which was faster than the way there.
After returning to Shangri-La, I chatted with the innkeepers, and they all said that there were carpooling to Yubeng, and Yubeng 100% basically could see the sunrise over the golden mountain, let me try it when I have a chance. Everyone can also make a reference.
It was said in the public account of Hiking China, 'If a person is willing to spend time and energy to pursue the sunrise over the golden mountain, then to a certain extent, it represents that this person has a perception and pursuit of beauty and a kind of romanticism that does not compromise with vulgar life. Only a vigorous life has the opportunity to meet the sunrise, and such a person has the ability to turn misfortune into luck.'
I didn't see it this time, there will be next time, a lifetime is very long, I didn't see it this time, I will come again anyway~
