Hey everyone! Just had an awesome day at Featherdale Wildlife Park and had to share. If you love animals, you’ve got to check this place out! 💞Reasons to Recommend: ✨Close Encounters with Wildlife✨ One of the best parts of my visit was getting up close and personal with the animals. I got to feed kangaroos right from my hand and even took a selfie with a koala! The best part is, there are no cages or barriers, so you really feel like you're interacting with the animals in their natural habitat. ✨Australian Native Animals Galore✨ Featherdale is like a paradise for anyone who loves Australian wildlife. I saw quokkas, which are just as smiley and cute as everyone says. There were also rare white kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, and even the famous Tasmanian devils. It's incredible to see so many unique animals in one place. ✨Less Crowded, More Personal✨ Unlike some of the bigger zoos, Featherdale felt really relaxed and intimate. There weren't huge crowds, so I could take my time and enjoy each exhibit. It was a peaceful and personal experience, which made it even more special. 🗓️Feeding Schedule: - Koala Garden: All day - Kangaroo Feeding: All day except 12-1pm( Koala Nap) - Echidna: 10:30 AM, 3:00 PM - Young Croc (Weekends Only): 12:30 AM - Penguin: 10:00 AM, 3:30 PM - Pelican: 11:00 AM 📝Tips - Definitely buy some kangaroo food at the entrance for 💰$4 per cup. One cup is usually enough because the kangaroos are pretty well-fed. - The koala photo sessions are a must! They run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The photos turned out great and I even got a digital copy. In addition to the must-see kangaroos and koalas, you can also see Australian species such as dingoes, echidnas, and wombats. There are also some snakes, crocodiles, owls, birds and other animals. We have only two goals 1. Buy feed to feed kangaroos, there are many kangaroos in the park, super cute😍 2. Take a photo with koalas, the price in 2025 has risen to 200 US dollars! Great layout planned for close up encounters of the animals throughout the wildlife park. I’ve been to Taronga Zoo but I’ll say this place has been my favourite place to come back. Very family friendly and the food options are wide enough and not too pricey for families to enjoy. There’s also a lot of animal encounters throughout the day for you to have a closer look to specific animals

Australia🇦🇺Sydney 2023.10 ⁡ I went to the zoo in Australia because I really wanted to meet a koala🌿 In Sydney, hugging is prohibited by state rules, so I took a photo of the koala's butt while it was on the tree📷 I was very satisfied with this too!! After comparing and carefully considering various spots where you can take photos with koalas... It's a little far from Sydney city, but if you want to meet a koala in Sydney, this is definitely the place to go! This is Featherdale Zoo! It's not that big, but it's a zoo where you can see the animals up close and have a lot of opportunities to touch them!! You can even take selfies with them! The staff are also really nice and definitely!! If you want to see awake koalas, I highly recommend the open run ㅎㅎ

koalas and wallabies are super cute ....emu birds are quite ugly by the way hahah. Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park is closed to Sydney and all the animals there are lovely hihihi including the ugly but cute emu birds. we drove to the zoo so not sure about the public transport though. you can pet and feed wallabies there... which i like the most for this trip...they are cute and friendly.
