Fanggan Ecological Tourism Area
Fanggan Ecological Tourism Area is located in Xueye Subdistrict, in the northern part of Laiwu District, Jinan City. It is bordered by Jinan to the north, Zibo to the east, and Tai'an to the west. The area is easily accessible by provincial highways. The tourism area is part of the Taishan Mountain Range and is nearly 1,000 meters above sea level. It is known for its beautiful mountains, rivers, and flowers, and is considered a "green paradise" by international environmental experts. With 90% forest coverage, the area is currently being considered for inclusion in the United Nations' "Global 500" list of environmentally friendly areas.
