Besides, the price of Fairfield on Thursday was particularly attractive, just over 200, so they placed the order decisively. ✅They contacted the hotel before check-in and were upgraded to a business suite on the day of check-in, which should be the best room at the Fairfield by Marriott Xi'an Chanba. The whole room is a fan-shaped structure. The living room is on the left side of the entrance, and the office area is between the living room and the bedroom. Further ahead is the bedroom. The bathroom can be accessed from the bedroom or the right side of the living room, which means that the living room and the bedroom share a bathroom. ✅The welcome gift included two cans of Shaanxi's specialty Bingfeng soda and apples from Luochuan, which are very local specialties. The hotel is suitable for a temporary overnight stay. If you want to visit Xi'an's scenic spots, it is relatively far away. There's also a convenience store and a breakfast restaurant on the first floor. The breakfast is decent and filling, and it's easy to order takeout nearby. The hotel has 184 rooms. If you're sensitive to cold, choose a sunny room. However, the air conditioning is centrally controlled, and the temperature doesn't go down much at night, staying around 28 degrees Celsius. The rooms are relatively small but comfortable, with clean bedding and bathrooms. However, a mirror in the closet faces the bed, which might be unsettling for some. The hotel has a 24-hour gym accessible with a key card. It's not crowded and often feels like a private gym. Overall, the hotel offers great value and is a good choice for an overnight stay.

Even the housekeeping staff are warm and meticulous, making guests feel well-cared for. 🏘️Room Types/Layout: Some lucky guests have the opportunity to be upgraded to a mini-suite or a business suite for free. The mini-suite features a living room with large floor-to-ceiling windows upon entry, offering excellent natural light. The business suite has a unique fan-shaped layout. Upon entering, the living room is on the left, the office area is straight ahead, and further ahead is the bedroom. The bathroom is accessible from both the bedroom and the right side of the living room, a practical and distinctive design. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The beds in the rooms are large and very comfortable. The TV is equipped with a robotic arm, adding a touch of technology and practicality. Xi'an Chanba Fairfield by Marriott, Check-in Experience I just got back from Xi'an, and my stay at the Xi'an Chanba Fairfield by Marriott really impressed me. It's truly a hotel with exceptional value. 🏠Hotel Environment The hotel is located in the Chanba Ecological District, surrounded by the Chanba National Wetland Park, Xi'an Expo Park, and the Huaxia Cultural Tourism Ocean Park. It's a natural oxygen bar, and you can enjoy beautiful views right from your window. The transportation is also super convenient, only a 20-minute drive from Xi'an North Railway Station, and within walking distance of Wuzhuang Station on Metro Line 3. 🛏️Room Experience The room design is very minimalist, using warm earth tones to create a cozy atmosphere. My room had amazing natural light, and the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was stunning, even offering a glimpse of the Qinling Mountains in the distance. The room amenities were also comprehensive, including high-speed Wi-Fi, an HD LCD TV, and a separate workspace. Every detail showed thoughtful consideration. 🥪Dining and Facilities The breakfast at the Fairfield restaurant was incredibly diverse, with so many options that it was dazzling. It's enough to keep you energized all day long. The hotel also has a 24-hour Fairfield shop, stocked with snacks and drinks, so you can replenish your energy anytime. What surprised me most was the 24-hour gym, equipped with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, allowing you to maintain your workout routine even while traveling. 💕Service and Value The hotel service was impeccable. The front desk staff and other personnel were very welcoming, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The price is also super affordable, offering excellent value for money. Fairfield by Marriott Xi'an Chanba 🏨Room I am a Titanium member, but I didn't get a room upgrade. Although the rooms at Fairfield by Marriott are all standard designs, the layout of different room types is not much different, and there is no particularly outstanding scenery around the hotel, so it seems that it doesn't matter whether you get an upgrade or not. But then again, since I was upgraded from a Platinum member to a Titanium member, I haven't enjoyed a room upgrade service in the past few stays. I feel that this membership level is a bit useless. 🚻Bathroom The bathroom is the classic layout that makes the whole room smell bad when someone uses the toilet. Even if you close the sliding door, you still can't stop the smell from spreading. This design is really bad. Even the layout of the bathrooms of some low-end brands of Huazhu is much more reasonable than this. 🛏️Sleep The bedding at Fairfield by Marriott is generally similar. The mattress is moderately firm, the pillow is supportive, and they all look relatively new and very clean. However, the soundproofing of the room is really bad. I was woken up by the sound of people walking and closing doors in the corridor at 7:30 in the morning. Although the sleep quality is acceptable, the sleep time is obviously insufficient. 💁🏻‍♀️Service There were more guests on the weekend, and I waited in line for a long time to check in. There were a lot of people dining, the order in the hot food area was very chaotic, and the food was not replenished in time. Many dishes were empty for a long time, and only some of them were replenished when I was about to leave. 💪Fitness The gym is in the basement and is equipped with a Smith machine, which is rare in Fairfield by Marriott.
