[2024 Aso Stay] Travel Guide for Fairfield by Marriott Kumamoto Aso (Updated Dec)
A Marriott hotel in Aso with a great location and good value for money
#AccommodationTravelRecord
On the first day of my trip to Aso, I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Aso Kumamoto. The reason I chose this hotel was because of its location. On the second day, I wanted to go to either Daikanbo or Kusasenri early in the morning, so I chose this hotel because it was only a 20-minute drive from both. The price was also reasonable, starting at 15,000 yen per night for two people. I stayed for free with Marriott points, but with hotel prices going up these days, this price is appreciated for Marriott. Another plus point is that you can see Mt. Aso from the room! There is a free drink bar in the lobby, and they also have coffee, cafe latte, tea, and instant miso soup! The instant miso soup was surprisingly delicious, so I drank about three bowls 😂 The location was also quite good, with a roadside station and hot springs next door, and restaurants and ramen shops within a 5-minute walk. For dinner, I went to Coffee Plaza East, which was a 5-minute walk away. It had a pure coffee shop atmosphere, but it was a set meal restaurant that served local cuisine. It was really delicious. My husband had red beef bowl, and I had red beef hamburger! It's not a stylish place, but the food is delicious and I highly recommend it! I've also included some photos of the surrounding facilities at the end of the post♪📍Fairfield by Marriott Aso KumamotoAddress: 1407-1 Kurokawa, Aso City, Kumamoto Prefecture, 869-2225Room: Standard roomPrice: From 15,000 yen per night for two people (around 19,000 yen on Saturdays and holidays)📝Abundant facilities in the area5 minutes walk from Aso Station, next to a roadside station, hot springs, and restaurants.
