🔶F Bistronome
📍7F, North Zone, China World Mall
This French restaurant is rated No. 1 in the Guomao area on a certain app, so I went to try it out. The modern decor is very comfortable, and the view from the window is superb, but you need to book well in advance.
🔷"Signature Orange Soufflé" This signature soufflé did not disappoint. The texture is amazing, and it comes with a tag indicating that it is the XXth soufflé sold by the restaurant, which is a nice touch.
🔷"Australian Ribeye Steak" The taste is okay, served with two types of sauce and mashed potatoes.
🔷"Icelandic Halibut" This portion is relatively small, with a small piece of fish topped with vegetables.
🔷"Pumpkin Chestnut Soup" The creamy and sweet taste of the pumpkin is mixed with crushed chestnuts, which is super delicious.
🔷"Parma Ham with Melon" The plating is very nice, but there is not much ham.
🔷The above are my recommendations. Other dishes such as "Mixed Caesar Salad", "Garlic Shrimp and Squid", "Apple Foie Gras", "Oysters", "Baked Asparagus with Scallions", and "Caramel Banana Chocolate Mousse" are quite ordinary.
🔶Overall, the environment is very good. There are set meals for two for both dinner and brunch, which are great value for money. I also want to try their afternoon tea next time.
