Although there are many tourists, everyone at the entrance to the stairs will voluntarily line up for photos, but in fact, there will be fewer people taking pictures.

Escradaria Selaron - Rio 🇧🇷
One of the best attractions in Rio De Janeiro is Escadaria Selaron! This free attraction is very easy to get to (about 30 minutes from Copacabana Beach by taxi) and there are lots of shops before you get to the stairs that sell small souvenirs like key rings and mugs. The steps have a long history and visitors have been coming to many years to see the different tiles that line the steps which are all handmade. The steps were originally built by a Chilean artist. The attraction is free to visit.
There are hundreds of handmade tiles that line the stairs and it is very popular. At the top of the stairs in a small restaurant which has a great rooftop looking out over the city.

The colorful tiled stairs of Rio de Janeiro
Rio de Janeiro's colorful tile stairs
An ordinary staircase that is not ordinary, attracting tourists from all over the world who visit Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the uniqueness of the art from the colored tiles that are brought from all over the country, arranged to become a world-class tourist attraction.
This staircase is called Escadaria Selaron or Lapa Steps. It is another one on my list that I intend to see why tourists have to stop by to take pictures. Actually, this place has its origins because there is a Chilean artist who lives in this area and started laying colored tiles on the stairs in front of his house for many years and brought tiles from all over the world. Until now, there are more than 2,000 pieces from all over the world.
If you ask what is exciting about coming here, there is actually not much. But it is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see art that people from all over the world must come to see. So why should we not come to see it when we are here? Many of the tiles have many origins because many of them are sent from many countries, including Thailand.
And most importantly, don't forget to stop by to buy lemonade mixed with vodka sold on the stairs. I guarantee that it is very delicious and really dizzy. You will get a great atmosphere. I think anyone who comes to Brazil or Rio de Janeiro And don't miss the Escadaria Selaron stairs.

Ordinary places will also shine brightly, and ordinary life will have extraordinary flashes, such as the Selelon ladder in the slum, one of the symbols of the city.
Before I went to this place, I actually thought about it for a long time, because in some domestic reports, and in many film and television works, the public slums in Brazil are not very good. It was full of turmoil, so after I struggled for a long time, I decided to go and see. After all, I didnt want to miss such a place. When I found out, I found out that it was not the same thing.
I found out that there are many tourists here, all taking photos with cameras and mobile phones. The slums in the imaginary slums are not seen at all, so sometimes the prejudice is really harmful.
