The drop glass design of the lounge allows full view towards the view outside where you can view aircraft taxing and taking off. Particularly enjoying their local desserts especially the cheese cake. #JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 First experience at Golden Lounge at Kuala Lumpur Airport, Malaysia! This time I departed from Kuala Lumpur Airport and took Malaysia Airlines to the resort of Langkawi. Thanks to my friend’s high-speed airline card, I was able to enter the airport’s VIP lounge, the Golden Lounge, for domestic flights. The VIP lounge is close to the domestic A2 boarding gate. The long and narrow space is quite spacious. You can clearly see the planes taking off and landing along the captain's runway. The view is great. It provides basic drinks, a cooked food area, and freshly cooked pasta. The taste is just so-so, but the view is good. The other flight was from Langkawi to Penang, also a domestic route in Malaysia. This time, I entered the St. Regis VIP lounge. The decoration was obviously more elegant, as if I had been upgraded from economy class to business class. #magicalxmastrip I took a Malaysia Airlines flight to Singapore en-route Kuala Lumpur, and since I am a Gold Enrich member I am entitled to the Golden Lounge for some meals and rest. The buffet spread is really scumptious and there are lots of food choices available, that a meal can be settles there literally. The interior is also very nice and cozy, and we had lots of food before our departure to another city. There is also a shower facility and napping area, so you can really recharge yourself before headimg to your next or final destination.

The shower amenities in the shower room also smelled good. There is an outdoor pool on the basement floor, and it is large, so I was able to spend a leisurely time swimming. The view was also great because I could see the airport control tower from the pool. If you want to enjoy a staycation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I highly recommend Sama Sama Hotel ❤️

We had the signature coffee, and yuan yang (mixed kooi and teh) and ordered some local dishes such as Mee Siam, Curry Laksa, Nasi Lemak etc. We then complete our mral with their signature egg tart, which gain thrm a title of Guiness World Record being the outlet selling the most egg tarts in Malaysia. The taste is awesome and every dishes is prepared carefully up to their standards. Do note that crowds are at their peak during breakfast and be prepared to wait half an hour, so its best to visit during lunch or dinner.
