#solotrip #europetrip #vianasjourney Silent whale watching is something that i would totally recommend while in Tromso. The catamaran ride was long and we was told there were no 100% guaranteed that we would see the whale but I would say, the journey itself going out in the sea was beautiful. Fortunately, we were lucky enough that we saw some orcas and humpback whales around. There were food and drinks you can buy at the bar inside the catamaran, toilets also available and you could wander around the ship with caution at any time you prefer. I would recommend to not pair this activity with any other plan because the ride can be longer than expected. Fun facts; On the background, there’s few houses with 3 different colours showing red, yellow and white. The color of those houses showed one’s social status: Red houses, made with earth-pigments were for the poor people. Yellow, made with copper, for a bit richer folk and white, made with zinc, for the village owner.

My trip to Tromsø left me deeply impressed by the pristine beauty of Northern Europe. On the day I arrived, I was greeted by a heavy snowfall, with snowflakes gently covering the rooftops, branches, and streets of the city. The whole world seemed to transform into a serene fairy tale land. Walking along the snowy paths, surrounded by pure white, the only sound was the soft crunch of my footsteps on the snow, creating an incredibly soothing atmosphere. Although I was eagerly hoping to witness the Northern Lights, unfortunately, I didn't get to see them this time. The night sky was clear, but the magical green light never appeared. However, this has become my reason to visit again. Next time in Tromsø, I hope to witness the flowing miracle of light amidst the falling snow.

It is an activity where you walk over snow using specially designed footwear, called snowshoes. A total of 2.5 hours was spent exploring the snowy landscapes, giving me plenty of time to immerse myself in the winter magic that I won't get back in my country. one of the most favourite tourist destination in Tromso. it is a definitely must go. the view is awesome! it is only a short 4 mins ride to the top. there is a cafe where you can chill and relax while waiting for sunset. the city lights are incredibly pretty. There is a cafe on the top offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks but with limited selection of foods. Heading up#tromsø#norway at night there are chances to catch northern light if you are lucky.

It is a Spanish restaurant in the center of Tromso When I saw the menu at the door, the price was super cheap. It was really good. Later I found out that it was so cheap because the portion was very small... Really only enough for 2 bites Each dish costs about 160-200 Norwegian kroner. If two people are together, they need to order 5-6 dishes to be full. We ordered a seafood platter for 300 Norwegian kroner and were really shocked when it arrived. . . It was smaller than my palm, with just a few mussels, two tiny king crab legs and four shelled shrimps. But the broth was quite tasty, salty and spicy. I also ordered grilled scallops, grilled corn and venison. They were good. The final bill for two people was more than 1100 Norwegian kroner. The whole journey is driven by myself. The driving time is about two hours. Before departure, each person will be given a thick coat and snow boots. It was snowing when we visited. The mountains are all covered with snow. At the top there is a restaurant with coffee and tea. Also a very nice view from the cafe if you want to take a break. #celebratewithtrip We didn’t really go inside the church as it was closed, just saw it while taking a walk. This cathedral is notable since it is the only Norwegian cathedral made of wood. The yellow, wooden cathedral was built in a long church format and in the Gothic Revival style in 1861 by the architect Christian Heinrich Grosch. The church tower and main entrance are on the west front. It is probably the northernmost Protestant cathedral in the world. With over 600 seats, it is one of Norway's biggest wooden churches. It originally held about 984 seats, but many benches and seats have been removed over the years to make room for tables in the back of the church. #tromso #norway

The Vilhausen is an aerial cable car located in Tromsø. It takes only 4 minutes from Solvian in Tromsdalen to the mountain station on the ridge Storsteinen at an altitude of 421 meters. The observation deck on the ridge offers a truly unparalleled view of Tromsø and the surrounding islands, mountains and fjords. This is definitely a place you shouldn't miss in Tromsø. There is also a restaurant at the cable car station, but the dishes are not as good as advertised on the cable car website. I think it is just some snacks and drinks. Of course, coffee and tea are essential.
