Trip to Munich 🇩🇪
On the first day of my trip, I visited Marienplatz and the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus). I started my journey at Marienplatz, the heart of Munich. Admiring the New Town Hall with its famous Glockenspiel that chimes daily 🥰
📍Marienplatz 8, 80331 Munich
I took a short walk from Marienplatz, this iconic church with its twin towers is a must-see 😍😍
Frauenkirche (Cathedral of Our Lady)
📍 Frauenplatz 12, 80331 Munich
Then I walked to a cafe nearby, Café Frischhut for their doughnut 🍩 This place is famous for its Schmalznudeln (Bavarian doughnuts). It tastes so so good and im misusing it 😃
📍Prälat-Zistl-Straße 8, 80331 Munich
I also visited Royal Palaces and Gardens, explored the baroque palace and its vast gardens. It was really beautiful and worth to visit 😍
📍Schloss Nymphenburg 1, 80638 Munich
Aside, I also visited English Garden (Englischer Garten).
Strolled through one of the largest urban parks in the world.
I also spent sometimes exploring Museums and Historical Sites. My favorite one would be Deutsches Museum. One of the world's largest and oldest science and technology museums. It was a very interesting one and I would definitely recommend you to visit 💯
📍Museumsinsel 1, 80538 Munich
I also spent sometimes to explore Markets and Cultural experiences at Viktualienmarkt. It is abustling daily food market with fresh produce and cheese. As a cheese lover, I really enjoy walking around the market.
📍Viktualienmarkt 3, 80331 Munich

@ THE ENGLISH GARDEN, MUNICH.
The "Englischer Garten" (English Garden) is Munich's largest park. In addition to its beer gardens, the famous Monopteros and surfing waves beckon. Here's why it's worth a visit.
The English Garden is one of the largest inner-city parks in the world and it's even larger than the Central Park in New York:
Location and size: It measures 375 hectares and stretches from the Altstadtring inner-city motorway to Munich's northeast along the west bank of the Isar River
Events: Kocherlball and Japanfest in July, Christkindlmarkt at the Chinese Tower in December.

THE VACATIONER!
Magical Munich Evening Ball
Once a year, Munich hosts a very special Ball at dawn in the English Garden beer garden that starts at 4am.
It’s an old tradition, called Korcherball that was held by the servants who were not allowed to attend the Balls.
Nowadays the tradition remains the third week of July with 10,000 people gathering to share an amazing early morning/late evening time by decorating the tables with chandeliers, bringing traditional food and of course with beer!
An unforgettable experience!

Largest Urban Park in Munich
The English Garden is one of the largest urban parks in the world, and the largest in Munich.
I came here for a walk during one of my work trips to Munich and was amazed by the vast size of the park. I didn’t have enough time and could only explore a small portion of it. It was a beautiful day with the perfect weather. There were many pavilions peppered all around the park to have your ice cool German beer. If I had more time I would have loved to have a picnic or leisure cycle to explore more of the grounds.

A spacious area in the city for walks and runs. It was really relaxing. We saw people bringing their dogs for a walk, families having a stroll and surfers too. It is worth a visit while staying in Munich.

A Family Day at Munich’s English Garden
#familytime Spending a family day at Munich’s English Garden is like escaping into a green paradise within the city. We started our day by strolling through the vast park, one of the largest urban parks in the world. The kids ran freely on the grassy fields, while we admired the peaceful scenery of the meandering streams and tall trees beginning to show their autumn colors. The park’s lively atmosphere was infectious, with people cycling, picnicking, and even surfing on the man-made Eisbach wave, much to the delight of the little ones.
We made our way to the iconic Chinese Tower beer garden, where we enjoyed a relaxed lunch. While the adults savored traditional Bavarian food, like pretzels and sausages, the kids were entertained by the live music and enjoyed their own treats. Afterward, we rented a paddleboat on Kleinhesseloher Lake, where the whole family enjoyed a peaceful ride, watching the ducks and swans glide by. The day in the English Garden was a perfect mix of relaxation and outdoor fun, creating lasting memories for all of us amidst the natural beauty of Munich’s beloved park.

My lovely Munich city break 🇩🇪
#100WaysOfTravel
My city break in Munich was an absolute dream! 🇩🇪 It’s a city that blends rich history with a lively modern vibe. I spent most of my time wandering through the city center, and there’s just so much to see and do. The highlight for me was *Marienplatz*, the central square, where the *Glockenspiel* show happens every day at 11 AM. Watching the clock tower’s figures move was surprisingly captivating! Nearby is the *Frauenkirche*, the iconic twin-domed church, which offers a fantastic view of the city if you climb the tower for just a small fee (around 5 EUR).
Munich’s beer culture is legendary, and I had to check out the famous *Hofbräuhaus*. The atmosphere was lively, with long wooden tables, local music, and of course, a huge stein of beer! 🍻 It’s free to enter, but be prepared to spend around 10-12 EUR for a liter of their delicious brew.
For something more peaceful, I took a stroll through the *Englischer Garten*, one of the largest urban parks in the world. The park’s beauty is stunning, and I was lucky enough to catch some surfers riding the river waves at the *Eisbach*. There’s no entrance fee for the park, so it’s a perfect place to relax and take in nature in the middle of the city.
If you’re into history, the *Residenz Museum* is a must-visit. For about 9 EUR, you can tour the former royal palace of the Bavarian monarchs, filled with opulent rooms and treasures. Nearby, *Viktualienmarkt* is a lively outdoor market where you can grab fresh snacks and get a taste of local life.
Munich’s mix of history, culture, and vibrant energy made my city break unforgettable. Definitely a place I’ll visit again! 🌟 #trip #MunichCityBreak #ExploreMunich #BavarianLife #TravelGermany #CityAdventures

This is a must see while in Munich. This park is massive and you can easily spend a few days there. Before even entering the park you can hang out and watch surfers tackle the Eisbachwelle.
From there, you can enter the park and have your choice of multiple walking paths all leaving to beautiful scenery. The Biergarten am Chineesischen Turm is huge, borderline impossible not to find a seat there. Near the food stand, they have smaller tables that seat 2 or 4 people. A little further away from the food stand they have traditional biergarten style benches.
The Mini-Hofbrauhaus was neat to stop by. Seating for maybe 100 people. Very small and if you are coming from the Eisbachwelle it is a bit of a hike. We spent several hours at the park over a two day period and still felt like there was so much we didn't see.

Top 15 most beautiful cities abroad, with cultural and historical heritage.
#I really want to visit these countries
When you think of big cities in the world, you might think of noise, excitement, and crowded people, delicious food and better nightlife, galleries, museums, and concerts. But sometimes we overlook the structure of the city itself, whether it's ancient city walls and castles, narrow winding streets, or skyscrapers. Here are the 15 most beautiful cities in the world.
United States, Cleveland, Ohio, you might think that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is all about dive bars and cheap hotels, but Cleveland is a charming city that takes full advantage of the beautiful scenery on Lake Erie. The waterfront is one of the most picturesque places in Cleveland and is also home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but the city is full of well-preserved historic buildings, the most impressive of which is a magnificent glass-roofed shopping street in the downtown area of the 1890s.
Oman, Muscat, Muscat is a dazzling city that stretches nearly 40 kilometers along the Gulf of Oman. In addition to the gorgeous modern architecture, such as the Al Alam Palace and the Royal Opera House, it also has some charming historic neighborhoods. Visit the Muttrah Souq or the ancient Muscat to admire traditional Arab architecture and catch a glimpse of the city's past. But the jewel in Muscat's crown is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, an awe-inspiring building constructed of shimmering gold, vibrant turquoise, and cool white marble.
Uruguay, Colonia del Sacramento, across the La Plata River from Buenos Aires, Argentina, may be another world. This city is charming with its well-preserved UNESCO-designated historic district, cobblestone streets, tiled roofs, and low stone buildings, presenting a unique blend of Portuguese and Spanish styles.
Germany, Munich, the capital of Bavaria, is full of magnificent buildings, magnificent open spaces and a large number of beer gardens. Marienplatz is the focus of this city, with magnificent Gothic buildings on both sides, but the city center is also full of Baroque, Romanesque and even Rococo buildings. After exploring Munich's rich architectural resources, if you want to breathe some fresh air, you can go to the English Garden, which is even larger than Central Park in New York.
Malta, Valletta, as one of the smallest capitals in Europe, Valletta is compact enough to explore on foot. This city is famous for its Baroque architecture, but you can also visit the magnificent St. Elmo's Fort, the fashionable Parliament Building, or the neoclassical St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral. Or skip all the big attractions, stroll up the steps, rest in the gardens, overlook the bay, admire the colorful Maltese balconies, and watch the warm cream-colored limestone turn golden in the sunset.
Ireland, Galway, and County Galway always appear on the list of the most beautiful places in Ireland, so it's no wonder that it's a stunning place. The ancient core of the city is still in use, and Kirwan Lane is a great example of narrow medieval streets, all of which are cobblestone and arches. Head west to Claddagh, a fishing district that dates back to the fifth century, where there are colorful fishermen's cottages and beautiful sea views.
India, Uttarakhand, among all the beautiful cities in Rajasthan, Udaipur may be the most sacred. It is known as the "Lake City", appearing to float on the water, with light and delicate lime-washed buildings. This romantic city is surrounded by jagged peaks and is a self-sufficient world, with palaces, fortresses, and castles everywhere. Its most iconic building is the City Palace, the largest royal complex in Rajasthan, consisting of 11 palaces overlooking Lake Pichola.
Porto, Portugal, although Lisbon is the most eye-catching, Portugal's second largest city is unique in its beauty and atmosphere, especially in the medieval Ribeira area. Here, the homes of merchants and sailors with centuries of history are arranged on cobblestone streets, seemingly stretching their necks to admire the view of the Douro River. In fact, the entire city seems to be focused on this river, from the double-decker Luís I Bridge to the trendy modern São João Bridge, which is one of the most iconic landscapes of the city.
Iceland, Reykjavik, Reykjavik is unique, from the colorful houses to the almost extraterrestrial-like Hallgrimskirkja. Except for the famous church, most of the city is low-rise buildings, which makes Mount Esja often covered with snow in warm months and more impressive on the water surface. Reykjavik is a charming and beautiful city with colorful houses, bold modern architecture, and stunning surroundings.
Peru, Cusco, although it is the gateway to Machu Picchu, Cusco itself is worth a visit. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the Americas, with historic buildings lining the streets, and it is located in the Andes Mountains. Inca ruins stand alongside colonial buildings and Catholic churches, while in the San Blas area, narrow alleys wind between small churches and artisan workshops.
South Africa, Cape Town, without a doubt, Cape Town is the most beautiful city in southern Africa. In its center, both literally and metaphorically, is Table Mountain, from its flat top you can overlook the entire metropolis. On the Atlantic coast, you will find white sandy beaches and jaw-droppingly expensive houses, but there is more diversity in the upper parts of the city center. Most of the historic buildings in this city reflect different roots from Africa, Asia, and Europe.
Canada, Vancouver. The geographical location of Vancouver is stunning, but it is also a bustling city with skyscrapers and excellent nightlife. It is one of the most diverse cities in Canada. There are many parks with green plants everywhere, and the view of skyscrapers is breathtaking. Spend a week exploring them.
Senegal, Dakar, Dakar is full of life, noise and crowds, but there are also some beautiful beaches where you can recharge after bargaining in the busy market in the morning. However, what makes Dakar unique and beautiful are mainly those islands. Leisurely swaying palm trees and colorful small boats are worth a visit.
Uzbekistan, Shiva, was built in the 10th century and has a unique history, providing a fascinating perspective on Islamic architecture in Central Asia. What is most impressive is its cohesion, as its mud walls and courtyard houses seem untouched by modern life.
Indonesia, Yogyakarta, despite being a constantly expanding metropolis, still retains its own traditions, heritage, and thriving artistic scene. At its center is the Kraton Palace, which is so large that it basically has its own walls. Most of the buildings are in traditional Javanese style, and the Taman Sari Water Castle is especially worth a visit. The English Garden.

In the city of Munich, there is always a reason why you don't want to leave when you are here. Don't look at the popularity of BMW and Allianz Arena, but the park in Munich is not inferior.
After a quiet afternoon, stroll through the lawns of the English Garden. There are green ones everywhere, giving people a very enjoyable feeling. I think this should be what life should have!
