[2025 Segamat Attraction] Travel Guide for Endau-Rompin National Park (Updated Apr)

An outdoor hiking or mountain biking enthusiasts? Head up a short drive from the woodlands causeway into johor bahru towards kluang where there is a huge national park called Taman Negara Endau Rompin where this is a tropical rainforest with many hiking trails and rock formations. Well, for us we took our mountain bikes and rode around taman negara and also to Takah Pengkoi where you will be greeted with a very strong gushing waterfall with a slide next to it for kids. But do take note, coming to this park a 40RM is required for an entrance fee but kids are free and I think this is the only national park that requires entree in malaysia. Getting there: The best way to get to this national park is by driving though it is not easy to find. You may also follow package tour which will be more convenient. Highlights: Endau-Rompin is a beautiful national park in the southeastern part of Peninsular Malaysia. Together with Taman Negara and Royal Belum State Park it contains some of the oldest rainforests in the world. Rompin State Park is also among the forests with the highest diversity of flora and fauna in Malaysia. 😊 There are various popular attractions in the national park including the jungle trails, a visit to the Jakun tribe village, rubber tube rafting, night safari, and also numerous fantastic waterfalls. The jungle trail is interesting and a must-do at this national park. This morning we went out on a lim for a daytrip to EndauRompin national park. #jungle #rompin There is a beautiful park entrance with lots of activities for a full day. We booked a boat trip down the river where you actually feel part of the jungle. we found elephant footprint where they cross the river. in the afternoon we could swim in Emerald pool which is a great way to close the day. 50RM entrance fee for each adult to drive in by car. road is very good, no need for 4x4

Endau Rompin National Park has existed for more than 248 million years and it is one of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world. It covers an area of ​​488 square kilometers and includes the south of the state of Pahang and part of the state of Johor.
