I had a chance to visit the Plaza Premium Lounge at Penang International Airport for breakfast, and overall, it was a decent experience. The lounge itself has a cozy atmosphere with comfortable seating. For breakfast, the buffet spread was fairly simple. There were staples like scrambled eggs, toast, and pastries, along with a few local options such as nasi lemak and fried noodles. I grabbed a plate of nasi lemak, which was decent, though the sambal could have had a bit more kick. The pastries were fresh, and the coffee was surprisingly good smooth and not too bitter. One downside was that some food trays emptied quickly, and refills took a while. If you arrive at a busy time, you might have to wait for certain dishes. The staff were polite but seemed a bit overwhelmed with the number of guests. Overall, it’s a convenient place to grab a light breakfast before a flight, but don’t expect an extensive spread. If you prefer a larger variety, you might be better off grabbing food elsewhere in the airport.

#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 As we had to catch a flight early in the morning, we stayed at "AC Hotel Penang", which is not far from Penang International Airport. This four-star hotel under the Marriott Group is more business-oriented. Although it is cheaper and the decoration is simpler, it has all the necessary facilities. However, its disadvantage is that it is some distance from the bustling city center. Maybe it was because we stayed there on a weekday, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite. The indoor space is about 50 square meters, with a living room and bedroom independent of each other. In short, it has a very homely and simple style. The double room we originally booked was about 28 square meters and cost just over NT$2,000. I checked the price of the suite and it was only around NT$3,000, so it was affordable. There is a large local shopping mall, Bukit Jambul Complex, and a golf course next to the hotel. Apart from that, there is not much to visit nearby. If you want to go to the old town of George Town or Queensbay, you have to take a grab. #MalaysiaTravel #Penang

The food court offered an extensive range of culinary options, ensuring there was something for every palate. The diverse selection, coupled with quality beverages, made for a satisfying dining experience. Would recommend the peri chicken stall which serves chicken that is not dry and quite juicy and the portion is quite big with a reasonable price, Other penang street foods like Satay, Curry Mee, Ikan Bakar, Roasted Chicken Wings, Deesrts, etc are recommended too. This Plaza Premium lounge at Penang International airport at near Gate A3 suits our travels. They have plenty of seating area and food selection is ok for a short stay. Their toilets are a bit small but then there is a bigger toilet for passenger use just below the lounge. This lounge does not offer showers but they have live station cooking noodles. So it is still not bad considering we can use the free lounge passes.

#malaysiatrip 📍Food Bayana, Penang Visited this newly opened food hall that is located at the industrial zone of Penang island and we had a nice dining experience here. The food hall is huge with multiple seatings and tables on both levels! With over 20 food stores available, they provide a huge selection of food from Chinese to Japanese to Malay food stall, they have it all! The place is well maintained and clean, love that they incorporate the lush greeneries into the food place! How pretty and stunning the architecture and interior design of this place. The food is served by the moving robot to the food locker, and patrons just have to scan the QR code for food collection. The entire process was really easily navigated and seamless. Great place to have lunch and dinner. We ordered Taiwanese braised pork rice with a side of crispy fried chicken, which was decent. Would recommend this place!
