This is the Chang Cafe in the Hua Hin Elephant Village. The surprise is that this cafe is located behind Wat Itisukto. To get to the cafe, you have to drive into the temple. So, let's stop by and pay respect to the Buddha first. 😍😂 When we entered, we saw an elephant letting tourists get on its back. The elephant was so big and looked so healthy. Today, I came at a bad time. I was going to feed the elephant, but the person taking care of it said that the elephants had all gone on tour and I had to wait 30 minutes. Since I had other duties to attend to, I stopped by the cafe for a bit before continuing my journey. ☕️🥰 The staff at the coffee shop were so lovely and provided good service. They spoke politely. We ordered iced cocoa and green tea. They were fragrant, delicious, and very strong. The price was not too expensive. They said that you can sit and drink coffee and watch the elephants wading up from here. It was a great feeling. I'll definitely visit again. 🌳🍃 📍 Location: Elephant Village, behind Wat Itisukto 🚗How to get there: If you come from Petchkasem Road, enter Soi Hua Hin 58, follow the road and go up the U-turn bridge to the other side. After getting off the U-turn bridge, turn right at the first alley and drive straight until you see the entrance to the temple. Turn right and follow the road. Riding an elephant in Ayutthaya I was impressed by the cute eyes of the elephants considering their size.

#huahintrip We visited the Elephant Village today. We dont believe in riding elephants but we feed them and that is something special to interact with them. Buy a basket of food and feed them. As easy as that. Or you can pay for a ride up the hill track on one. The elephants are well cared for here. Also visit the small cafe here for cold drinks and watch them being fed or walked. we had coffee and a bite tp eat, very relaxing.

The elephants are cared for and the staff are friendly. You pay 1200 Baht for a single ride on an elephant or 800 Baht and share with your friend . Afterwards you can feed the Elephants which I have done. They eat a variety of fruits. You pay a 100 Bhat for this experience and the park provides the fruit. This was a trip worthwhile. Its 15 minutes from Hua Hin CBD.
