The three sisters and the elephant rock were a mark on my bucket list when coming to New Zealand. They did not disappoint! The rock really does look lile an elephant and is nothing like I‘ve ever seen before.

These unique limestone outcrops are located on a farm near Duntroon and are part of the Fossil Trail, a paradise for photographers and imaginative travelers. #traveldiaries #newzealand #100waysoftravel I came across the elephant rocks which is a field of massive limestone boulders that's thought to be over 25 million years old! The boulders vary in sizes and you can climb onto the rocks. There is hardly anyone around and I learnt that this is the filming location for the first Chronicles of Narnia movie. On the side, you can find some sheep and cows reared by the owners of this private land. There are also dandelions around this beautiful pastures. Giving this underrated place a 5/5 as I really enjoyed visiting it alot.
