[2025 Bali Stay] Travel Guide for Element by Westin Bali Ubud (Updated Mar)

#bali #balitravel #hotelstay I had a pleasant stay at Element hotel! The room was comfortable (large and cozy bed!!), the service was amazing, the breakfast was delicious, and the view was beautiful. Their vegan options for lunch/dinner are limited, but the chef will gladly accommodate your request to “veganized” their regular menu. If you like an active vacation, they have a tiny gym here with only several cardio machines and free weights, along with some resistance balls. Oh but they do have free yoga every Sunday at 7AM and swimming pool was decent. As much as I enjoyed my 3 nights stay here, this may not be the best selection if you’re a solo traveler like myself who enjoys quiet time by the pool or love to walk everywhere. The swimming pool was often crowed by kids and it is 30-45mins walk to the “happening” location. They do provide shuttle service to city center / Monkey Forest, but it only runs every 2 hours from 9AM-7PM.

The resort is so huge that if you stay in premium room you’d have to walk a long way. I booked two rooms for two nights. In the first night three mistakes happened: the balcony door can’t be locked, a wrong elite members name was put in my room, and the bathroom door can’t be opened. The last one is relatively dangerous as there’s no emergency calls in the bathroom. Room was located in a far place no can barely be noticed. Luckily I traveled with family so someone could help me. Staffs are attentive they came to me at the breakfast providing an option to change to room. On the next day they kept following up with the needs. I would say everything was pleasant except for the security matters. It seems minor but could be possibly be a huge trouble. Hope they would improve.
