[2024 Beijing Stay] Travel Guide for Element Beijing Yanqing (Updated Oct)
I stayed in a private courtyard in Beijing with my family. I'll definitely come back next time.
I stayed in a life-changing homestay in Beijing!
You can enjoy hot springs and BBQs. It's a perfect replica of the southern countryside. 🏝️🏝️🏝️
Jinyuanzi is great for group gatherings!
The four-bedroom house is perfect for group trips. Each room has a private hot spring. It's a high-end experience that's perfect for bringing kids or having a gathering with friends. You can play video games while waiting for the BBQ. It's so comfortable~
The courtyard is even more dreamy 😍😍
There's a small lake, a stone path, and even a pavilion! You can sit in the pavilion and drink tea or have a BBQ. It's so beautiful! The butler service is also very good 👍👍👍👍

Yanqing's Recommended Hotels for a Comfortable Stay - The Second Homecoming
Yesterday, I took my child to participate in the Spartan race. For my fellow Beijingers, it's a 100-kilometer drive from my home to the World Garden Park. Returning on the same day was too exhausting, and the child had to compete at 9:30 in the morning. Beijing is just too big~~ So, I checked into the Beijing Yanqing Yuansu Hotel in advance~ There's also the Beijing Yanqing Marriott Hotel, which has an unbeatable location; just downstairs is Wanda, making shopping and dining very convenient.
It's a 6-kilometer, 10-minute drive from this hotel to the competition venue.
Our trip was for two days and one night, and I booked two main meals at the hotel in advance
This stay was for three adults and two children, (my daughter is 13 years old, considered an adult). I chose the apartment suite at Beijing Yanqing Yuansu Hotel, which I recommend, it felt just like returning home, with a large refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine all available. It was perfect for washing the children's school uniforms in the evening.
I highly recommend the authentic meals here
I booked the Marriott Chinese Restaurant and the Yuanshan Western Restaurant at Beijing Yanqing Yuansu Hotel
The Chinese restaurant recommends the tangerine peel red bean paste and beef cubes~ This time I had many dishes cooked with fresh ingredients, 🍗 like bamboo shoots, you can feel the chef's careful selection of ingredients. The kids really liked the beef cubes~ The tender beef blended with the aroma of onions and other ingredients, leaving us savoring the taste for a long time. Oh, and the fish is highly recommended~ It retains the freshness of the meat, served with Northeastern black fungus, the fish is fresh, tender, and smooth in the mouth, giving us a taste of the ocean beneath the spicy flavor. Also, treat yourself to a daily soup, a bowl of pork rib and meat soup, to sweep away the fatigue of the journey and keep us energized and in good spirits!
The next day at noon, after the children's competition, we went to the Marriott Hotel's Western restaurant. The German-style crispy pork knuckle with sauerkraut transported us to Germany in a second, authentic and delicious, replenishing the children's energy with generous portions.
The crispy skin of the pork knuckle was amazing, fragrant and crunchy, and cutting through the golden crispy skin with a knife and fork, we could smell the aroma of the food. The meat was fresh, tender, and juicy in the mouth, and its unique flavor left us reminiscing for a long time. Of course, the mashed potatoes here are my son's favorite, along with the authentic sausages, and finally, the big pizza is recommended, thin and very tasty. If you come here to check in, you must try it, it will definitely satisfy your taste buds.
This stay, I discovered a little secret. We booked two rooms, and on each floor, there are three rooms that can be provided for family gatherings. Outside these three rooms is a door, lock this door, and the three rooms inside don't need to be locked anymore, allowing for easy visiting and chatting between them.
In the end, we spent half a day at the Wild Duck Lake.
Where did you all go for the May Day holiday? Tell me in the comments. Lastly, did anyone happen to meet in Sanya?
