Daegu Eldis-Regent Hotel is a 4-star hotel located right in front of Cheongna Hill and Gyesan Cathedral. It is an excellent location for exploring the old downtown area, including the Modern Alley and Daegu Dongseong-ro.
Honestly, on this trip, I was walking around until late at night, so I was sure I would arrive at the hotel around 11pm..! I chose a Daegu hotel of a reasonable standard, and I was debating between one near Suseongmot and this place. Since it was my first trip, I decided to stay in the old downtown area. When I got here, it felt like Seomyeon in Busan or Myeongdong in Seoul. It was a really convenient hotel for exploring the Modern Culture Alley.
It is not that big because it is the main building, but it was remodeled and is faithful to the basics. Overall, it was simple and compact, reminding me of a Japanese hotel.
There is a USB port next to the TV, and there is a makeup mirror, a stand sofa, and a cushion on the table. There are two pin lights next to the bed, creating a cozy atmosphere -
The bathroom amenities include basic items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, and the good thing is that there was a bidet! Oh, there was also a bathtub.
The robe was a summer robe, so I wore it comfortably. The soundproofing was good, and although the view wasn't anything special, the blackout curtains were strong, which helped me sleep well.
The location was really great, so I used an umbrella and walked around Cheongna Hill, Gyesan Cathedral, etc., and when it was hot, I came back to the hotel and had coffee with a Tamtam coupon and went out again - haha The accommodation itself was a decent place to stay for one night after playing until late at night. If you go to the spacious rooms in the new building, the image will probably be different. If you're looking for a clean hotel near Cheongna Hill and the old downtown area, consider it :)
