Hong Kong Hidden Tea House
A few days ago, after working all night, my friend said we might as well go for morning tea together. I immediately thought of the Duan Kee Teahouse near Tai Mo Shan. I have never had the chance to eat there. I decided to try it!
The environment is very comfortable once you get there. I haven't felt the feeling of being one with nature for a long time. Although it is self-service, both the staff and customers are very humane in the store, which is already commendable in Hong Kong.
This time we ordered several dim sums, including char siu sausage, shrimp dumplings, siu-mai, golden belly, salted water corner and coconut cake. Although friends who have eaten it have mixed reviews, I myself think that overall it is not bad. I like his char siu sausage the most. The flour of the char siu is not too thick, and their homemade char siu is added, which is surprisingly fresh. The golden belly is also very tasty, the entrance black pepper flavor is rich, a little drawback is the carrot more roots.
A friend said the rich flavor of salt water corner, I think the entrance is good, the crust is quite smoky but a bit sticky, at least not too hard, can try.
Overall, this time to eat, I think the quality of the food is not very bad, and there are also many people deliberately drive that walk back to eat, I think the opportunity to come and feel the only remaining rural flavor in Hong Kong, is a good choice!
