Night Tour of Nanluoguxiang, Drum Tower, Yandai Xiejie, and Shichahai
Nanluoguxiang is a hutong in Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. It is now a famous commercial street in Beijing.
The Drum Tower and Bell Tower of Beijing are located at the northern end of Di'anmen Outer Street in Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. They were timekeeping buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasty Beijing.
Yandai Xiejie is known for its shops selling smoking pipes, antiques, calligraphy, paintings, stationery, and local snacks. The architectural style of the shops is simple and characteristic of northern Beijing. It is a well-known cultural street in northern Beijing and has been frequented by many cultural celebrities.
Shichahai is located in Xicheng District, Beijing, opposite the back gate of Beihai Park on Di'anmen West Street. It mainly consists of Qianhai, Houhai, Xihai, and the surrounding historical sites. It is a narrow water surface stretching from northwest to southeast, also known as Shicha Sea, Shihan Sea, or Shiban Sea. The wide Shichahai is surrounded by tall willow and poplar trees, which sway in the wind, making Shichahai even more beautiful. It is a scenic area with beautiful scenery. Shichahai is named after the ten temples around it, including Wanyan Temple, Shihu Temple, Wannian Temple, Yousheng Temple, Baima Guandi Temple, Guanghua Temple, Huguo Temple, Zhenwu Temple, Huode Zhenjun Temple, and Baoan Temple. The classical buildings and gardens here allow you to experience the beauty of classical Beijing architecture. Standing on the Yinding Bridge on the east side of Shichahai and looking towards the Western Hills, this beautiful scenery is known as 'Yinding Guanshan,' one of the Eight Great Sights of Yanjing. In 1992, the Beijing Municipal Government designated Shichahai as a 'Historical and Cultural Scenic Area,' and in the 2000 selection, Shichahai was ranked first among the 25 historical and cultural scenic areas in Beijing.
