For the first parachute jump, what do you need to prepare? Pattaya parachute jumping complete guide.
At the moment of leaping, I didn't hesitate, but rather had more determination to chase the sky!
.
First time skydiving, encountered rainy weather, front desk informed that it would probably take a wait of 4 hours.
.
Usually there are three reasons why you cannot parachute:
1️⃣Thick clouds 2️⃣Strong wind 3️⃣Rainy
.
Perhaps all beauty is worth waiting for. The sky after the rain has an extra touch of beauty that has been baptized. The deep blue sky, low clouds, and clear sea. Then, take a leap and embrace the sky. That is the feeling of freedom.
.
Item list:
Essential: Passport or ID card (passport required for skydiving in Thailand, ID card required for domestic skydiving)
Clothing: It is recommended to wear slim-fitting clothes.
Other: Snacks and water (because the waiting time is uncertain, and the base is remote, the things sold are expensive and not tasty)
Ps: You can paint some favorite patterns on your arms. I jumped at Dropzone and the base offers free graffiti.
·
⛳️Things to know before the trip
Basic skydiving requires reserving a whole day. We depart at 7am and return to Pattaya after 4pm (due to weather conditions, waiting time may be longer).
.
⚠️Attention:
①You can wear glasses👓, and the coach will provide you with goggles; if you wear contact lenses, you may also need to wear goggles;
2. When skydiving, the eardrums may feel uncomfortable, so diving is not allowed within 24 hours.
③When skydiving, do not bring any items on your body. Generally, items such as GoPro and watches are not allowed.
.
🚀Parachuting experience:
Cool! Cool! So damn cool!
①First of all, I am afraid of heights. When I stepped out of the cabin, I was a little scared (although I don't think it's as scary as bungee jumping).
②When you first jump, there will be a sense of weightlessness, and the rapid descent will pressurize your eardrums and cause some discomfort. Freefall lasts for about 40 seconds at a speed of . When the parachute🛬 opens, there will be a pulling sensation and the speed will slow down.
After that, the coach gave me the tow rope and taught me how to control the direction. Also, there was almost no wind noise at this time, so you can communicate with the coach and ask him to take you for a few more turns and fly for a while to see the scenery.
.
🌎Comparison of two major bases in Pattaya, Thailand
Dropzone is the new base.
Advantages:
Closer to the sea, with a view of the ocean, absolutely stunning. About 90 kilometers from the city center, it takes about 90 minutes by car.
Many employees can speak Chinese fluently for smooth communication. However, most coaches are from Europe and America, but they are super enthusiastic.
.
Free arm graffiti.
.
Shortcomings: Far from the city center, only one food vendor in the base, slightly expensive and not tasty.
No input provided.
Thai sky
Advantages:
Old base, zero accidents, about 50 kilometers from the city center, 50 minutes by car, many flights.
Insufficient:
Because I didn't go, so I can't give a good evaluation, but it is indeed farther from the sea than Dropzone.
