Room was equipped with basic hotel amenities such as water boiler, toothbrush with a bit bigger toothpaste, vanity kit, safe box, small fridge and for ladies, to have a hotel provide you with cotton face is really something you appreciate. Their cleansing products from shampoo to body wash are vegan body care products, they are smelling nice and feeling good on your body especially the shampoo. The hotel offered free high tea at executive lounge for me and it’s started from 5.30pm to 7pm. For those who consider to stay here, maybe you may ask if you are allow to enter the lounge as it’s actually serve quite a few options if appetizer and snacks. Alcohol choice are available as well.

Sarath City is one of the few modern malls located in Hyderabad where it consists of 7 levels of retails, food, restaurants and also a bazaar which I will talk about. As most of the shops here are international brands, it can get abit pricy. But there is a bazaar called the real Indian bazaar where it sells local apparels like Saris, Bangers, Jewelries, clothing and shoes that are of the same qualities as the other shops located in sarath City. Travelling in Hyderabad, India there are many food local road sides food options available where many will say this are the places you should at least try once. But since I was on a work trip I rather be on the safer side, so instead I ordered the generally KFC, Macdonlds, Starbucks which are internally known. But eventhough these are internationally known, the food menus are catered to India where the KFC comes with biryanni and curry, the Starbucks comes with tandoori chicken and even the Starbucks coffee and tea comes with chai infused ginger tea. You can also see the Starbucks also has a case specifically for vegetarian as in India there are a high percentage of locals who are vegetarian. Hyderabad has a mall called the Sarath City Capital Mall where there is this indoor and amusement park covering the entire 7th floor of the mall, basically an entertainment centre. From a movie theatre, to a bowling alley, to amusement and themepark indoor. There are more than 30 over game machines in the amusment park, where some you are able to collect points and claim for prizes after you stack enough points. But there is this upscale restaurant/bar located at Asro Plaza called the Barley and Grapes Cafe which is also a franchise from other cities of India! Inside of the Barley and Grapes cafe, you will see a GIANT metal case and this is where your beers are being fermented and brew. In Hyderabad, there is a Hamley's, one of the very popular, well known toy store known in the world which originates in London with the biggest toy store that has 7 floors with of toys there. But in Sarath City in Hyderabad, Hamley's may be located on a single floor but it takes up 1/3 of the entire upper level 4th floor, a total of 3 whole units. The entire Hamley's is filled with many cute adorable stuffed toys, games, arts and crafts, magic tricks, bicycles, action figures and even books for education. One of my bucketlist is to travel and cover the entire India in this lifetime as India can be an eye opener trip as compared to the other usual destinations like America, Europe or Australia. This trip to Hyderabad was a great work trip and I'm glad Hyderabad has made it into my bucketlist destination. Despite the bad congested roads, where many say this is a 3rd world destination, I agree to a certain extent as when it comes to technology and medical shipments hyderabad is number 1! When it comes to monuments and historical sites Hyderabad also comes in top. When in Hyderabad, the common food here are mostly your briyanni with all your different kind of curries and at times it can be really quite spicy! If you are unable to take the spice here in Hyderabad, one of the food outlet you should try is the New York Slice. And never did I knew that this was actually a franchise outlet where they have 3 other outlets in Hyderabad and also in other cities like Delhi too! They serve really good pizzas based on Google reviews but sadly I am unable to try due to huge portions that this pizza shops serves so instead I tried their wings and sandwich like panini! Ohhhhh it was soooo good, the wings are well Marinated with their local spices and you can change the spiciness level, and also the sandwich had a hint of local flavours like tikka chicken and cheese which they called in Paneer. Ate you travelling for business or just leisure and looking for a reasonably priced until without too much noisy traffic on the main road(as you will always hear horns from car). You can head to Fairfield By Marriot in Hyderabad located at Rd Number 2, Financial District, Gachibowli. This is a good location firstly, you do not face much traffic jams since you are staying very close to the tech park and financial district where people mostly go to work but you will be heading to the opposite direction for work or leisure. While coming back to the hotel, most people would head home, and you again do not face too much of the horrendous traffic here in hyderabad. For a hotel price of $110 - $120 per night, this is a hotel with facilities like a spa, gym and a room with most full sized hotel has. Here we come to the part of Why Golconda (Shepherd's hill) fort got its name ! Well, there is a shepherd guy who on his everyday shepherding routing found an idol at the top of this hill and went back to Mauri Rao (then emperor) that it was divine. Later Mauri built this fort as an act of protection, also to pray for the wellness of his people. If you explore enough this fort, there are some secret passages and burrows built for escaping king 🤴 and his family. Even over the history, when the great Aurangzeb led a siege of this fort the last king stayed there escaped through one of these tunnel. Even these tunnels had so much designs in it, with a bit of sunshine and air to provide the lifeline if they choose to hide in it. Forts are generally designed to keep the king at an elevated position which represents that he is above all the people of his country; giving him an immortal status. These tombs play an important role in keeping that status alive. Like the mummies (preserved bodies of kings/queens) in Egypt, places were built for Kings in India. And these tombs come with such magnanimity and artistic work in that. Mostly these tombs are built when the king is alive, and the tomb will be of his taste (like nowadays buying that premium burial ground for ourself). Situated near to the Golconda fort, these tombs has bodies of kings who once lived in that fort. If you look from the top of that fort, you can easily see people coming at a distance of atleast 5 kms; which provides a strategic advantage against any enemy attacks.
