To get to guiding, the nearest train station is huizhou which is very accessible from most major cities. once in huizhou, one can get a bus or didi to guiding.

We went there by rent-a-car, from parking you can decide either to walk for 30-45mins or use ebike drivers. Walking is nicer, enjoying nature but remember to bring water. There's lady on top with cold drinks, so you can buy for extra fee. On the way are some abandoned houses, lots of greenery, road goes up and down...so I could say it's interesting climb. Once you got there, amazing view on whole area and you can enjoy cold drink. You can actually see how right side is more for surfing if you're into it. Whole experience took roughly hour and half. Nearby parking is also Turtle museum, but we skipped it.

It's a stunning view from up there. Hotels - We stayed at Ramada by Wyndham and took about 25 minutes (taxi then motorcycle). Food - There are some small restaurants, but you need a taxi to go there.
