Huizhou·Double Moon Bay | Through the crowd, to see the mountains and seas. Standing on the viewing platform of the bay, admiring the double moon-shaped bay where the mirror-like calm and the surging waves merge, the sea breeze whispers, calling the call of loving life. ✨✨Travel guide: The two bays of Double Moon Bay have different characteristics. The waves of Daya Bay are smaller, the sand is delicate and comfortable, but the sea water is easily turbid; while the waves of Rainbow Bay are larger, suitable for watching the waves, but the gravel on the beach is coarser and can cause inconvenience. The beach of Double Moon Bay is full of broken shells and it's hard on the feet, while the adjacent Xunliao Bay beach is comfortable with fine white sand, and the sea view after the rain behind the Reef Bar is greenish. The surrounding Sea Turtle Bay is a fresh and romantic place known as the "Little Kenting of Guangdong", with a parking lot at the entrance and a ticket price of 30 yuan. It is about a 20-minute drive from the viewing platform to the Sunrise Reef Bar, with a ticket price of 128 yuan. When you get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise, there is usually no one checking tickets, so you can enter directly, and it is also suitable for taking pictures. 🔍Navigation: The Double Moon Bay viewing platform has a parking lot, and you can reach it along a half-hour uphill road, or you can choose to ride a motorcycle up the mountain (the cost is 15 yuan).

This is a hike through some of the most beautiful and historical part of the Huizhou peninsula. The picturesque Huizhou peninsula feature natural elements and marine life. Join the locals in fishing, or listen to the anecdotes told by old fishermen. Double Moon bay gets its name from the double moon shaped bays. You can have a birds-eye view of the Huizhou peninsula on top of the mountain. This trail is mostly paved road. It is very safe and you are within a few hundred meters from the main road. To get to guiding, the nearest train station is huizhou which is very accessible from most major cities. once in huizhou, one can get a bus or didi to guiding.

We went there by rent-a-car, from parking you can decide either to walk for 30-45mins or use ebike drivers. Walking is nicer, enjoying nature but remember to bring water. There's lady on top with cold drinks, so you can buy for extra fee. On the way are some abandoned houses, lots of greenery, road goes up and down...so I could say it's interesting climb. Once you got there, amazing view on whole area and you can enjoy cold drink. You can actually see how right side is more for surfing if you're into it. Whole experience took roughly hour and half. Nearby parking is also Turtle museum, but we skipped it.

If you don’t come to Huizhou Shuangyue Bay Observation Deck, you will regret it for the rest of your life. I took a motorcycle from the Turtle Bay parking lot to the entrance of the Turtle Bay Scenic Area, which cost 20 yuan. If you walk up from the entrance of Turtle Bay Scenic Area, it will take about thirty to forty minutes, and some slopes are steep. You can also ride a small electric car, which is convenient and fast. There are some steps as you approach the observation deck, and there are stalls selling cold drinks and souvenirs on the roadside. These souvenirs are very meaningful. The scenery on the top of the mountain is very good. When the weather is good, the sea water turns blue. The symmetrical bay is very pleasing to the eye, and it is photogenic no matter how you take it. For me, I think the observation deck here at Shuangyue Bay is still very beautiful. It is not a weekend, there are not many people, and the weather is not hot. It is more suitable to enjoy the sea breeze, which takes away all the fatigue. Stepping on the waves at the beach washes away all your worries.

For the sake of this window, flying to Huizhou Shuangyue Bay was worth crying over.😭 Waking up to the seaside, hearing the sound of the waves anytime, anywhere, this seascape B&B has blown up my social circle!! So I immediately flew to Huizhou Shuangyue Bay and stayed in this B&B for 2 nights!!! Getting There - You can take Didi or Taxi to the Sea Turtle sanctuary and take the motorcycle to go up. There are a lot of riders that will take you up. However, you should be careful with the price because they might rip you off. It is better to negotiate first with the riders. Attractions - You can see the part of Huidong district from this place. It's a stunning view from up there. Hotels - We stayed at Ramada by Wyndham and took about 25 minutes (taxi then motorcycle). Food - There are some small restaurants, but you need a taxi to go there. We didn't see the sea turtle sanctuary because it closed around 5 PM. #beachlife
