Even though I visited before the festival, I felt the festival atmosphere in advance because there were so many roses. The festival is held at Seomjingang Train Village, and there are event booths set up in various places during the festival. The admission fee is 5,000 won, but they gave me a 2,000 won gift certificate that I could use in Goksung, so I bought a cool drink. It’s a river that I regret not being able to capture with my phone. This place is a scenic restaurant, but another charm is that You can wait while eating gelato ice cream! There are many types of gelato🥹 I chose the cream cheese flavor, and it melted right in my mouth. That japchae... You have to try it. The peak of the beauty of May, the queen of the season, is rose🌹 Rose is what it is🥀 I went to the Gokseong Rose Festival that I had been waiting for for 3 years. I was lucky enough to go in 2018, but the festival was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2022 Rose Festival finally started, so I was so excited. First of all, the rose field is so big, so there are many pretty ones, and so many people. It's pretty and nice to look at, but there aren't many rose photo zones that are perfect for this spot! So it was surprisingly difficult to take pictures😭 So I recommend the main photo spot!! This is the event zone, but if you lie down boldly and pose well, you can get the picture of your life. It's a cafe right in front of Gokseong Train Village. The garden and landscaping are beautiful. It's also quite large for a rural cafe. I remember it because of its unique menu, Melon Latte. #Train Village

There is also a rose garden of considerable size. It is a space where you can enjoy simple amusement rides, although there are not many. If you reserve a steam locomotive, you can ride the train for a while and go back and forth along the river. It would be nice to go in the spring when the flowers are in bloom.

Dugaheon, an old-fashioned cafe located in a hanok that won the 2012 Hanok Architecture Award. It was a calming space thanks to the old-fashioned interior and props filled with the charm of a hanok, and the Seomjin River seen from the outdoor terrace was also very pretty. Patbingsu is expensive at 19,000 won per piece, but when I received it, the toppings were so rich that it felt reasonable in terms of cost-effectiveness. Homemade red beans and black sesame rice cakes are the best! The ice is made with organic milk from Sanghamok Farm. It was originally operated as a cafe, gallery, and accommodation, but now only the cafe and gallery are in operation due to COVID-19. The weather was a little chilly, so I ordered a soup dish, and the soup was just the right amount. The meat, bean sprouts, and noodles were plentiful. I also ordered Rose Jjimdak. A bowl of rice is provided as a basic. There were noodles inside, so the amount was not insufficient. It seemed like they used very tender parts of the chicken. The sauce wasn't spicy either and it tasted exactly like the rose sauce that I usually know. I think meat noodles are the best when you wrap the meat, noodles, and bean sprouts together and eat them. The meat wasn't too thin either, so it was delicious. This was my own review of 'Modern Korean Restaurant' with my own money. You can boil the ramen directly on the burner or use a ramen cooker to create the feeling of Hangang Ramen or PC room ramen. First, they put in the charcoal and set up the 2 servings of Makchang that we ordered. The Makchang looked really good. It was also well-maintained. Since each piece is a bit large, I think it would be good to cut it up and eat it. I didn't know how to find a good makchang restaurant in Gokseong, but I chose a makchang restaurant among the many restaurants, and I don't regret it. It was a restaurant I visited while traveling, but I could feel the atmosphere that would be in every neighborhood, so I could feel comfortable. I highly recommend 'Doldam Makchang' where you can have a drink with makchang while sharing conversations from your trip.

#CanadaFlightEvent I visited Chungui Park in Gokseong! A cosmos flower garden appears here in November, and it was an unbelievably beautiful landscape❤️ It was so wide that the cosmos flower field continued endlessly, and it felt like heaven! It was a little-known place, so there were no people, so I was able to take pictures to my heart's content.

It was the most delicious food I had during my trip to Gokseong.. I like rice noodles, but it tasted different from the rice noodles I usually eat, but the broth was really the best! It was a really great rice noodle restaurant that I ate a whole bowl of even though I usually eat a lot,, It was a place made of Hanok, so it had a cozy feel, and they also had a cafe, so I could drink coffee or teaㅎ

#January travel support event #Goksung accommodation During my trip to Goksung, I wanted to take a rest for a day in a quiet rural village, and while looking for accommodation, I happened to find the night in my arms, which was operated as a guesthouse on weekdays, so I was able to make a reservation for cheap! I was the only guest, so I was very lucky to have a large private house to myself! There was a small space where I could sit and read a book by myself, and I could cook in the kitchen and use a cozy room by myself.ㅎㅎ The next day, I had a great time chatting with the owner while eating bread❤️
