The kitchen has coffee beans that you can brew yourself and cooking utensils for cooking. The living room has a tea set and tea leaves for tea ceremonies, and a long table. Next to it, a very sentimental small tree welcomes you! The bedroom has a bed large enough for two people to sleep in, a TV, and a small closet on one side! I thought it would be exposed to safety and bug risks because it was a Hanok accommodation, but the main gate was also very safe and I didn't see a single bug! There are universities and food alleys and even a cafe street nearby, so it's a perfect place to enjoy Gwangju without going far :)

While searching for a good restaurant in Dongmyeong-dong, I visited Futoru, which is famous for its delicious futomaki. Futoru is located right in front of Seoseok Elementary School, so if you park at the National Asia Culture Center parking lot or Seoseok Church and walk, it's close! The exterior is completely Japanese-style, so I was even more excited 💛 The store is small enough to fit about 4 teams, so I ordered at the kiosk first and waited a bit! You can enjoy your meal in a warm and cozy setting. The steak chwinamul bibimbap is a perfect blend of Western and Korean flavors, with ingredients like arugula, mushrooms, onions, chwinamul, and steak all tasting delicious.
