Depart from Chengdu at 08:25 in the morning and arrive at Neijiang North Station on time at 09:00 by high-speed train. We arrived at Neijiang, a small town on the Tuojiang River between Chengdu and Chongqing. Neijiang is known as the Sweet City because of its long history of sugar-making and unique candied fruit culture.
The first stop: of course, is Daqian Garden, which is more like a park. It is located on a high slope beside Tuojiang River. Neijiang has produced many famous calligraphers and painters since ancient times, and the most famous one in modern times is Zhang Daqian. There are calligraphy and painting exhibition halls, Zhang Daqian Memorial Hall, Taibai Tower, Zhang Daqian Museum, and Xilin Temple, etc. This place is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery and lush vegetation. You will feel relaxed and happy while strolling here.
After going down the mountain, I walked along the Tuojiang River to the Xilin Ancient Ferry. The two-yuan ferry took me to the other side of the river. I strolled along the greenway along the river and came to Donglin Temple. Donglin Temple and Xilin Temple face each other across the river. There are some cliff carvings here that were first carved in the Tang Dynasty. The largest one is the Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Guanyin, which is very distinctive and is the largest Guanyin statue found in Sichuan Province.
Next, we strolled through the uneven Neijiang City. It is a bit like Chongqing, a mountain city. We walked along the Dati Lane, passed the birthplace of Zhang Daqian, and climbed many steps. When we got to the top, we found another road. [Sweat]
The next step is of course to taste the most famous Neijiang beef noodles, which cost 11 yuan a bowl. It smells fragrant and has large chunks of braised beef in red oil. It is delicious and very cost-effective.
It seems that the people of Neijiang have a very high happiness index!
No tickets are required for any place, and there is no need to show your mainland Chinese ID card. It is very friendly to tourists and the city is clean. recommend!

Neyin is half stars and half ruins.
On the bustling Heba Street in Neyin,
opposite the majestic Holiday Hotel,
a few airtight cement walls
separate this huge ruin.
-
The hillside building structure is a common sight in the old city of Neyin.
Old residential buildings from the last century are densely packed.
The new houses have not yet been removed from the crane.
Push open the blue iron gate,
the grass inside is very tall,
the pool water has dried up,
the Buddha smiles with a flower in his hand,
the thousand-handed Guanyin pinches a skull,
I didn't expect
that this Donglin Temple from the late Tang Dynasty
has stood silently for more than 800 years.
