It's a popular spot for newlyweds to take wedding photos. 3. St. Michael's Catholic Church - Continue eastward for 200 meters, and you'll see the most popular building in Dongjiaominxiang. Both the main entrance and the street opposite are excellent locations for taking photos. 4. Old Belgian Embassy - Although you can't enter the old embassy opposite the church, the scenery under the wall is equally captivating, as if you've stepped into a Miyazaki comic. 5. Ming City Wall Ruins Park - Your exploration of Dongjiaominxiang comes to an end. The St. Michael's Church (Dongjiaominxiang Catholic Church) is situated at No. 13, Dongjiaominxiang Street, a renowned location in the capital city. On holidays, this place is bustling with street photography, wedding photoshoots, and tourists. The church was established in 1901 by a French missionary, Gao Sidu. The church faces south with its back to the north, designed in a pseudo-European Gothic style. It features a brick-wood structure with exposed brick walls. The facade is adorned with three pointed bell towers, pointed arches, wall columns, stained glass windows, and wall niches. Inside, thirty round columns provide support. In 1995, it was declared a "Beijing Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit". The Dongjiaominxiang alley stretches approximately 1.6km. An hour is sufficient for a leisurely stroll, sightseeing, and photography.
